CHIRPER
Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

This month there is a special 👻 SPOOKY SEASON 👻 addition: instead of ✓ or ✕ for like or dislike, it's 🎃 and 💀. Whatever the character has the most votes for shows up appended to their username on the network for the next month, as in, un: aurora 💀.

Right. When they cannot be the center of conversation, they create conversation or redraw or redefine the center.

We learn those lessons during preschool.

They certainly do. And it's unfortunate how often they monopolize conversation with all their parading around.

If only society could see beyond the pointless displays.

What else can you expect? Society can barely glimpse past its own nose. Probably because it is too busy with looking at those quaint costumes.

Superheros allow people to explore complex issues in a simple and compelling narrative. But most importantly, they allow their fans to escape the harsh realities of everyday life.

Why grow and evolve if you have a superhero to do everything for you?

Of course. But that does not mean there is no room for growth for those with no need for heroes.

Whether Lex Luthor is a familiar name is a fact he keeps to himself. He doesn't particularly like anyone. But some like this man are more interesting than others.]

Then I imagine our situation is a fertile ground for your imagination.

Speaking of that. What do you make of it all? This place and the supposed story behind it? Do you believe it?

I accept no more about this reality than my presence here. There is currently no evidence as to whether the story is true or false and frankly I am more focused on surviving. That and developing whatever my curiosity is taken by in the spare time.

There is very little information given considering the supposed 'stakes' behind our being here. You would think with the level of importance, they'd have everything laid out, but it seems we are left here to simply believe what they say.

Can't say I like it.

It would be more tolerable if we could only attain proof. These mathematical scribbles left behind after the fog seem difficult to parse. But it seems they hold some information - once translations are finished, I guess.

I could probably assist with that. I might have to take a closer look, but I feel it might be something created just to keep all of us busy.

Spend the time trying to find in the scribbles, as you put it, less time seeking the truth.

Exactly. Not that the truth might arrive even with an accurate translation. What proof is there of origin? Of the author?

Nothing about any of this makes sense. It's disorderly.

You're absolutely right about that. I'm going to continue to see what else I can find out, but it's good to know there are others not blindly believing what they've been told.

I jest. But there are a number of people who share the same opinion as yourself. That what they have been told is not all they could be told. Finding them will hardly be a needle in a haystack. It seems quite the popular opinion, actually.
