So is this like Reddit, or more like Facebook? Can I change my username? Kind of weird it didn’t ask me to set up a password. What if someone steals someone else’s earpieces? Would they be able to post with their account? What if I want to make a second account for… you know. Sideblog reasons?

It does, yes. Domesticating them is a common practice in my homeland, and greater drakes are considered sacred, for their assocation with our patron goddess.

So these games are generally paired. To what end are there two?

Wow. How To Train Your Dragon is real but Pokemon isn't? That's not fair.

Books on the subject do exist, though I've not seen that exact title. We haven't the technology Earth does, so there are numerous innovations we simply do not have.

So the only difference is superficial, for financial gain?

I'd trade all our future devices for real dragons.

There's slightly different Pokemon in each version, so if you want to complete the collection, you either need both games or to trade with people who do.

I am terribly biased, but I am quite fond of them.

This seems a peculiar manipulation to leverage against those who take interest in collecting.

It seems some worlds have abominable dragons, alas.

And how do you feel about these games, such as they are?

And some worlds, like mine, have mosquitos, and they're way worse.

Oh, I love them. I buy all of them.

I question the merit of the comparison.

Perhaps, if you have objections to their practices?

A dragon isn't going to give me malaria.

Not objecting that hard to it. It's not like it's like... drugs.

Yet in some worlds it seems dragons will decimate populations in short order simply because they can. 'Tis difficult to fathom, yet I do not doubt such accounts.

I should hope a game would be distinct from drugs.

I know not what gacha is.

Fine like, MAYBE a few days.

Gambling? But worse?

Perhaps we should count it fortunate that none have spoken of dragon-mosquitoes.

How do they worsen gambling?

No. But that's a great idea for Dungeons and Dragons.

Imagine gambling and even when you win, you don't get any money.

That sounds peculiar. What do you stand to gain then?

A group game, yeah. I used to run a campaign for a while.

A picture of a girl, usually. But it's just a digital picture, so if you ever don't have your phone with you, you don't even have the picture.

When you say campaign, does that mean it is a war game?

I have difficulty imagining such a wasteful venture succeeds.

Kinda? Oh right, to you, I guess it's like. Imaginary strategy.

People spend billions on this, collectively. Crazy, right? But it's technically legal for now, so.

And your people engage in this for fun?

It does sound quite mad. To think so many would be enticed by mere images.

You're probably noticing a pattern that a lot of humans pretend to do things for fun.

So what about you? What do you do for fun?

I simply did not think war would be one of them.

The life I led left little time for leisure. But I enjoyed reading when I could, or working with dragons.
