Concerning Antigone's warning regarding our real names, it occurs to me that we would benefit from collaborating on this front.

To that end, I wish to open discussion.

For those who have chosen a name, please respond with what you have selected, that we may know what to call you.

For those who have not, you may use this posting to discuss your ideas or invite suggestions from others.

As for myself, I shall be using "Lucien", the name of a character from a novel in my world.

Do you think it would be a bad idea to use an alias that was used previously? Would that be too much of a connection to our true names?

That is a good question. Perhaps it is a matter of what one regards as tied to them?

I agree, even when she is being deliberately abrasive. I think it's part of her charm.

I wonder how she would feel, knowing that we find her prickliness charming.

I heard back from her about the names. She isn't certain, but she thinks that using a nickname or alias that has been used in the past is risky, considering it still has a history of being tied to the person.

I suspect she knows. Neither of us is terribly subtle in such regard.

I see. In that case, you will require something new, to be safe.

That is very true. I am a little worried about her. She seems a bit overwhelmed. I'm trying to offer help, but she and I aren't very familiar with each other. She might need some extra support through all of this.

Despite how many aliases I have, I'm not the best at picking them.

She did tell me to expect that she will be scarce unless there is a dire need. I too have concerns, though I do not wish to underestimate her. Let us do what we can.

I have heard tell of a Lord Underhill.

What of the plays you enjoy? Surely you've a favorite character.

Lord Underhill. Not one of my finer moments.

There was a play that I enjoyed quite a bit when I was a child. I would force my uncle to play it out with me. My favorite character's name was Sir Crandall.

Lord Underhill seems to not be without his charm. Granted, I have only hearsay to go by.

Might Crandall suit for this mission?

I don't know anything about fae naming conventions, but I don't see why not.

This is the longest mission I've yet seen from Aurora... Our comrades may require our support more than previous.

I see that your list is getting quite extensive. Thank you for doing this.

I intend to do what I can to help both the people from here and to locate the Vestiges. I don't want them to be trapped there any more than any of us. I don't know what waits for us in this new world, but having to live in hiding for so long, to keep secrets so fundamental to who you are, it's exhausting.

We both know something of that feeling, I should imagine.

That is the hope. With any luck, such a protracted mission shall not prove harrowing.

Admittedly, I am hoping that we can have at least a little bit of fun. The last couple of missions have been difficult to navigate and to say I am tired would be an understatement.

I'd have no complaints if we've no further business in bunkers or fog. I fared better on Earth, thanks to your brother and Sleeper, but I've not forgotten your ordeal.

If I never see the inside of a bunker again, it'll be far too soon. It was nice seeing you and Joshua be able to have that calmness. Sleeper was a pleasant surprise as well. If anyone deserves the chance to just live a life for the sake of living it, it's you and Joshua.
