There are few locations suitable for respite, but I have secured proper accomodation and shelter from the elements.

Should we take shifts in guarding during the night?

Light will not be an issue. For the shifts, I do not require sleep, so that is a factor to be considered.

Is there anything you do need?

I will require two hours for routine maintenance daily.

[godsandbats]

One of us could step in if needed while you do your maintenance then.

Should the need arise and I need to assist, however, most of my systems will remain functional.

That depends on who possesses a need for sleep, surely?

I still need sleep but I'm used to working nights and odd hours. I can adapt if needed.

Of course. Though it is easier to adapt with the comfort of a bed rather than sleeping in a bag on the ground, I dare wager.

Naturally but we all have to make do with this mission.

[Does he open up the manor to strangers? Those outside the family? Or does he permit them to suffer? Surely they can stand a week or two of discomfort?

The choice is made.]

I suppose there are worse things to anticipate than momentary discomfort.
