So, it's February. Normally it's one of my favorite months, but... this will be the first Valentine's Day I'm gonna be apart from my boyfriend, so... that's not feeling great.

BUT! I figure I'm not the only one in this boat, so I think I'm gonna do something rather than just sitting around feeling bad. What I'm thinking is a party where everyone gets a bucket of ice cream and we watch some trashy movies or something. Everyone would be welcome, except couples.

Why, it's only the most important day of the year! It's the official day of lovers, where you're supposed to spend the day with your significant other and just do all the mushy stuff you can handle!

I'm assuming from context that 'February' is the name of the month, so that leaves: Valentine's Day, if the boat is metaphorical or literal, what is ice cream and why is it in a bucket, and what are movies and is the trash part literal or metaphorical.

Movies are... again something you've just gotta experience. We could do a tasting party while going through some classic movies!
