UN: Aerith » Video
[Aerith could text and maybe she ordinarily would, but given that this is her very first time making use of Etraya's network, she decides she would rather own all of her words and let them be attached to a face.
So on she pops making a peace sign with her right hand just outside the Louvre in the Jardin des Tuileries.]
Helllooooo!
I've been here for a little bit, but this is the first time I'm giving a real hello. I'm Aerith, but I might have told you my name was 'Ree' or 'Ri' or some other variation of it. I sold flowers back home and maybe I might want to do that here, too? I'm not sure yet. It's nice to meet you!
A bit ago I was one of the people who came from Pollux and had been living with the fae for a few months, if you can believe it. I haven't exactly reunited with everyone who I had met while I was there, but I'd like to if you decided to come back with everyone else.
I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who was worried about me not making my way back. As you can see, I'm in one piece and one hundred percent here!
[She opts for not making any commentary on any of the dreams she had and the various people she might have reached out to in said dreams even before they found her on Pollux. That may just have to remain another one of those unspoken secrets that Aerith seems to carry.
She moves her video to show the gardens off.]
If you like flowers, you should come visit the Louvre. They aren't mine, but the very nice man who curates the museum is letting me help take care of them! Please come by and say 'hello;' they'd like that very much!
[When the camera moves back onto her, she lifts a finger.]
With that out of the way—I'm actually looking for someone. Back on Pollux there was a very nice man named Jean-Napoleon who said he was going to show me some more gardens here. I'm officially stating that I'm hunting you down and I would like to collect on this invitation!
And of course, I'd be very thankful for anyone who can point me in his direction!
[But also, you know, please come to the gardens—and her church—and say 'hi' to the flowers.]

No, of course, I – uh, which isn't to say you weren't, um...
[ A grimace. It's been a long while since he's tripped over his own words like this, and he can only imagine it adds fuel to the fire. At the very least, Maelle hardly needs the ammunition.
He clears his throat and pushes onwards, smile slightly self-conscious. ]
I'm still happy to show you. When would you like to go?

That said, she should. Maybe. Not put him too much on the spot. Aerith bites her tongue from commenting further, and instead—]
Hm. I'm very easy. I've had pretty much nothing but free time since I came back with everyone and a lot of that time has been me going back and forth between my apartment and the store to buy plants.
[To no one's surprise at all who even remotely knows her.]
I'm sure you're busier than I am, so you let me know when's good for you and I can make it happen. If there's a time of day that you think is best for viewing, we should definitely go then.

I think it's pretty almost any time of day, but...
[ He's vaguely aware that offering to take her there at sunset or anywhere near evening might be, well... misinterpreted by certain nosy, teenaged eavesdroppers, so he instead says: ]
But I've always liked it in the morning, when everything is fresh and new and the flowers are just starting to bloom. If you're free, why don't I come collect you for a tour tomorrow? We can get a coffee or hot chocolate on the way.

It would seem she and Gustave may view the world in similar ways.]
That sounds perfect. I'll make sure I'm up bright and early. I'll send you my apartment information, so you have it, or I can wait for you outside. Whatever you might like more.
no subject
I'm in the apartments, too, so why don't I just swing by and pick you up on my way out?
[ He grins, the expression crinkling up his eyes. It really is good to know she'd made it here safe. ]
Good thing you made this announcement. I would have hated to have broken my promise.

[It's probably the one with some plants trying to overgrow and creep underneath the door. And if Aerith has her way, the entire apartment will eventually look like that. She makes a note to send him her apartment number once they both get off of video.
He continues and Aerith smiles gently, maybe a little sympathetically.]
Even though I kind of put you on the spot, huh? I'm not sure there were other ways for me to track you down, and I had kind of meant to say 'hello' to everyone. Thought I'd just do it all in one go.
[At least he'll never have to endure her doing something quite like this again.]
