Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

He can harness light magic, as I can. But I believe he is a human? His ears are shaped as yours are. But regardless, he resides at the apartments as I do, and we conversed one evening on the roof. I believe those creatures are from the world he hails from.

is that a common magic thing? making things glow, i mean. i'm really new to all of this.

[Honestly Arthur has to wonder what kind of human this Dion is if he can cast magic and he's from some world with magical birds? Not that he thinks he's less of a person for it, but more he's just wondering the differences between them due to their different worlds. The idea that there's humans on different planets is just... strange. The time discrepancies are hard enough!!]

Only sometimes. If the magic is intending to provide light, then yes.
Were I to perhaps cast a mending on some torn clothes, it wouldn't glow at all.

Except that I am always glowing...but that is not because of the spell.

mending sounds real useful. better than having to stitch things back together, i ain't ever been real good at that.

does that ever get annoying for you? the glowing all the time. i guess you're just used to it, or whatever is making it happen for you.

Annoying...bothersome, yes?
I suppose it can be bothersome. When it unsettles people around me, I don't like it.
But I can often forget about it until I see it once again.
It is bothersome to have another mystery I cannot explain properly.
It feels like a divide between myself and other people.
I think that is annoying.

sorry to hear that. i had assumed it might have been something natural to being an elf, but i guess that was foolish of me.

It is not foolish to assume. Magic itself was unfamiliar to you, yes?
If I am the only elf you have known, I suppose that makes me the baseline.
I am afraid I am a poor one at that, given the many things I lack in their regard.
But I am glad the glow does not bother you. Thank you for telling me.
Please do tell me if something I do or present is troublesome. I don't often know.
