Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

right. they also poisoned me with what i thought was maybe moonshine, they was goading me into drinking it and i stupidly did. then they robbed me, and dumped me in a hole full of corpses thinking i was dead. i weren't, much to their surprise.

no, i ain't the type to let an attempt on my life go so easily. besides, i weren't going to let them just keep my damn money, neither.

[ Curious, in this place where they work to save their worlds, that preventing other people from getting murdered doesn't come up. Mizu doesn't judge him negatively for it. His reasons are closer to what her own would be in the same circumstances. ]

Plenty of people don't know how to fight well enough to get their revenge, or their money.

[For all Arthur at times might dismiss himself as a killer, he really doesn't delight in the act of it. He rather avoid it if he can, but it's not always so easy for him.]

ideally most people shouldn't have to, but the world is what it is. it's better they learn how to defend themselves, or find those willing to protect them instead.

It'd get in the way of everything else people need to do. Society only protects so many. Someone's always left unprotected.

i ain't real big on civilization or society. someone is always going to get forgotten or exploited, used up like they ain't people. that's why you got to take care of your own and help those you can. ain't no one else gonna do it.

You could argue that's what we're doing here. Taking care of our own and by extension everyone else in our worlds. This world killing threat might be the only time I'd consider the shogun worth my regard, even by consequence and not intent.

you think so? this whole conceit seems a bit beyond a fool like me. i just don't want my world to end, there's people who ain't deserving that. i'm sure that's true for other worlds too. if i can help hold the line, i don't see no reason not to try.

There's a lot of honorable types who've saved the world, if these profiles are worth going by. However, the sentiment you expressed, not wanting your world to end, is one most if not all people relate to.

The man in charge of my country. The last one died shortly before I left my world. It will be his son now.
