Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

I know. It is truly a tragedy that a guy as charming and personable as me finds myself persecuted by others on such a regular basis when all I mean to do is speak the truth.

[after some thought:] Perhaps pointing out how a behavior or remark makes you feel? It's possible they do not know they are abrasive, but being accused outright can raise one's hackles.

Perhaps 'unfair.' Or 'unjust.' If they are reasonable, having to explain their actions as fair can make it clear where they are not, no? And if that fails, I suppose there really is no reconciling. It could not be said you didn't try, at least...

If you're willing to accept the blowback for it, yes. My apologies, I'm not the best at confronting unkind people myself, so perhaps my suggestions are moot.

that's the downside of the work i do, you see. the villages and cities with leaders who actually give a shit about their people don't usually need someone like me to step in because they've done what's necessary already. those ones usually only ask when the threat they're facing is more than they can handle. they don't let it get bad before asking for help.

A hazard of the job, then. It takes a strong tolerance for intolerance to be able to deal with that, I imagine.

i'll put up with whatever dickhead i need to deal with in order to do my job. i wasn't raised to turn my back on innocent people because one man thinks himself above it all.

they're the reason i do it in the first place.
