Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

It's nothing you should worry about making better. Neither of us are to blame. It's just. Complicated. I'm just trying to go back to how things were before, with you. For now. We don't have to do anything more. Be anything more than friends. Not unless you want to.

[Whatever it was between him and whoever else it was he had said he had feelings for here. Still, Keyleth was trying. Not to force anything. Pressure him. That wouldn't be fair. Just because with things back home, he had ended up with her, to assume that he would here as well.]

[ There is nothing to speak of between him and the other person he's grown fond of here. They are friends. That might be all there will be between them, but it's precious to him, even so.

It felt deceptive of him to not be truthful about his feelings after Keyleth told him about their future together. Simply knowing it's hard for her does put a pressure on him, but that's not her fault. It's because he cares about her so much. After being here for over a year on his own, to suddenly jump into something with her feels overwhelming. ]

I wish.. the others were here. Then we could just go and get drunk like we always do.

well, i mean. we can still do that. it might be a lot quieter and tame without grog and scanlan, though.

[She knows what he means, though. It is weird, strange. Being without their whole group of misfits. She does miss the others, too. Keyleth is sure that's only an ache that has grown stronger given how long Vax has been here, especially without Vex around.

But whatever happens between the two of them, she wouldn't pressure him. Force anything. Even if she had unintentionally blurted more than she should have. She's fine with taking their time. Remaining friends, at least. ]

[ Go out drinking? Just the two of them? Why does that make him blush all of a sudden? ]

We could. I guess it's not as sad as drinking alone.

There's a club called Maximum. It's not far from the apartments. Want me meet me there?

[ With the agreed upon meeting, Vax can be found waiting outside of Maximum when Keyleth arrives. Since they're going drinking, he dressed in something casual rather than his armor, paired with a pair of comfortable, black trousers. Upon seeing Keyleth, he smiles as he greets her. ]

It's fine lol we all deal with typos sometimes.

[Keyleth is glad she wasn't exactly dressed up, merely in a simple green dress when she arrives and spots him. She's done her hair up in braids so it is out of the way, possibly in anticipation of potentially getting a little nauseous. She's so used to seeing him in the armour, it's almost unusual now to see him without it. Still, she smiles and gives a wave in return.]

I hadn't ordered anything yet. I figured to wait for you.

[ Vax escorts her inside so they can head to the bar. This could be a pretty good place, but Etraya doesn't have the type of big city population to fill it often, so it's a little strange to just see some bots working. There is music, though the dance floor is empty. ]

We don't have to worry about gold here. Order anything you want.

[ Vax takes a seat on one of the bar stools. ]

Alright. Um, I guess I'll try a drink to start. Did you want a snack or something as well?

[Food helps, right? Against the nausea? At least, for her. In theory, it should. Keyleth glances to the menu, the list and has no idea what most of these options are, though. She frowns at it, pouting slightly in her confusion. Usually they just asked for whatever ale the tavern had? She isn't sure what to order out of all of this.]

You can just order ale, if you want.

[ They have most drinks that are favored by the worlds of the people brought here. Sometimes, what's familiar is best, in Vax’s opinion. ]

I've been here long enough to sample just about every menu. How about the loaded French fries? They're kind of greasy, but they're a traditional snack with alcohol for a lot of people, or so I'm told.

Hm. I'm not sure if I want to try something else. It's just that I don't know what most of these are. But uh, sure. We can get some fries to share?

[She'll trust Vax that the fries should be good. Keyleth glances at the menu options again and tilts her head a little. What was a 'cocktail'? She knows of wine, at least. Though, she is more used to drinking ale.]
