Chirper
Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!
There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
- Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
- When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
- Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
- This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
- For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

hero is a profession where i come from. we train in rescue, combat, and evacuation. heroes save others, respond to natural disasters, fight villains, that kind of thing. but it's also our job to reassure people that everything's gonna be all right.
heroes are very popular, so we become like celebrities in addition to public servants. i still need to work on responding properly in interviews though...
[ Public speaking... the true villain! ]
in vash's other game bakugo is his bestie so it makes me laugh whenever he meets Heroes now
Professional. I guess we have heroes back home, but nobody's going around calling themselves a pro. That's pretty neat. No wonder you got pulled to a place like this. Do you like it?
bakugo stop being friends with selfless idiots challenge: impossible! i would kill for a bakugo here
well i don't appreciate being taken from my world...
[ He hates being kidnapped actually! He super-punched the barrier about it! But Midoriya is mild-mannered to a fault. ]
as for hero work, it's been very hard but i don't regret it at all. it's my dream. if i was given the same choice i'd do it all over again. it's only been 2 years since i started training, but i'm a different person now. i just hope it's enough to solve the problems back home. i think with everyone's help, it will be.
i can try and seduce them this way maybe 👀
And hero work does sound intense. Do you just decide you're going to be one? Is there an interview process? What's it like?
👀 twirls hair, it's not like they're my 2 favorite characters from mha or anything!!
i can't ignore the pain that kidnapping us causes, but i do get the impression that there is something... not human or beyond human at work here.
[ What Accelerator said about Echo transcending into another form of being or whatever is pretty wild. ]
there are licenses one has to get in order to be a pro hero. it'd be really dangerous if everyone just used their quirks on the street to fight since there are so many that could kill in an instant. oh right, quirks are the common word we use for meta powers.
there are schools with hero course programs, and i'm in one. after graduation, people usually train further as a sidekick under a pro hero before choosing to go solo. anytime someone serves under a pro hero, even just temporarily as part of a school's work-study program, they usually interview you unless they asked for you specifically.
[ Vash is incredibly lucky that this conversation is written, where Midoriya can at least be somewhat concise. When speaking, he tends to get very carried away and would probably have rambled twice as much. ]
our game is ending so i will find out if they have plans to move anywhere!!
I think quirks sounds way more fun that meta powers did, even if I'm not sure what either of them are. Superheroes, right? That's what someone called it here.
So you have a power? If you're in the power school.
my other game is ending too so no rush if yall are still wrapping up endgame!
yeah. when meta abilities appeared, everyone compared it to superheroes just like in comic books. when things got really chaotic and violent, one mother said that people shouldn't go after her child who had a meta ability, that it was just a "quirk" of his. that's where we got the word we use today.
the advent of quirks changed what it meant to be human, but in the end everyone is still a person.
[ Midoriya doesn't like to lie, and he will lie by omission if he can, but it's a matter of public safety that the true nature of his Quirk remain secret. If he has to use more of his power in the course of being a Hero, the unusual power of his Quirk will out, but he'll just cross that bridge later. ]
it's not a requirement to have a quirk to take the entrance exam, but my quirk is super strength. it also lets me run really fast or jump really high.
[ *ooc: kosei, lit. "individuality" is officially translated as "quirk" ]
🫡 ... also i think i just forgot to finish that first bit of thought up there lmao
I mean it sounds like it was a tough time getting to where you are now, but I do like the sound of it. People using what they've been given to help out. It's how the world should be.
It also sounds handy for a place like this. Have you been here long?

it's only been days for me. how about you? to be honest, i thought you might actually be a pro hero, with a cool name like "the stampede".
