Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

never been out that far east before myself though so can't say i'm particularly familiar with it beyond what little bits i've read about it in diaries here and there.

Japan is closed to foreigners in my time. It's been closed for nearly a quarter a century. There's only a single port in which some Europeans dock and trade. Even so, they are kept isolated from the town. From what I've read, it stays that way for a couple centuries.

1657. You're from the time of the decline of the Ashikaga shogunate. They became weak and fought each other, the local daimyo gained more power, and there were a lot of conflicts until the current shogunate's family gained power over the whole country.
