Hello, my name is Victoria Dallon. Antares when flying around trying to solve more problem than I might cause.

I've noticed that there is a relatively high population of capes around, or "superheroes" if you want to make extra sure your allegiances are clear. Supervillains too, I would assume? Whatever, I don't think anyone's that stupid to be trying to make something of villainous takeover.

At any rate, I've noticed that this place isn't really high on crime, and that every now and then we're going to be tested in one way or another. For that reason, I was wondering if people would be interested in making something of a support/tutelage group for capes? I was in something along those lines back home, and it helped me a great deal. We're lacking an actual cape therapist here, but I think we could still arrange drills and excersises to keep our powers and dynamics honed. And a space to talk about freely, too, because sometimes you just need someone that can listen and undertand, right?

I'm particularly interested in those that are either underage or whereabouts, since the older ones are most likely more experienced and don't really need this kind of thing as much.

So yeah, let me know if you would be interested in doing something of a little meet and greet to see if there's enough interest to get a group going.

If anything it will help us more active types to not go totally insane, I'd think.

Yeah, and that's the name they put down when my quirk was registered when I was a kid.

If you mean the explosions don't hurt me, then yeah.

Registered? I guess your government is far more involved in keeping an eye of people with powers than mine. Then again, whenever someone manifests powers back home...it can be messy.

Yeah, I assumed as much. But it can affect other people?

Yeah. You register when your quirk shows up as a little kid, and you can change how you're registered if you figure something new out about the quirk.

If you wanna be a hero, or cape or whatever you called it, you have to go through hero school and the hero registry exams and all that crap.

Wow, that's way, way more organized than the way things happen in my world.

Usually people get powers out of extreme trauma and if the government sponsored hero groups are lucky they can find them before any of the batshit crazy villain groups take them.

Also no hero exams or school, obviously.

Sounds like maybe you don't have as many people with quirks as we do? 80% of the population has them where I come from, and they're genetic, types of quirks run in families and crap. It's got nothing to do with trauma.

Yeah, we're far from the common denominator.

Good to know not everywhere sucks when it comes to powers.

80% thought, sounds like your world might be a bit chaotic, but maybe the powers you get in your world aren't as threatening as the ones we get.

Apparently things sucked when quirks first showed up, but that was before I was born.

Chaotic's one word for it. And who says?! No way someone from another world is more threatening than I am!

Huh, I wonder why that changed. At least it did.

There was this woman that conquered an entire planet with her power, and I know some other cases of powers that could cause massive destruction, but hey, I'm sure you're threatening enough, since I assume your explosions can actually hurt people, right?

Tch, who knows? Maybe they just got used to there being quirks.

Yeah, we got villains like that too. None of them took over, but one of the ones back home can disintegrate anything with a touch, and it got worse than that.

[It's not something he likes to think about, those heroes disintegrating with that horrible quirk. But at least the sobering memory stalls his tantrum.]

I see. Then again, there's more to say about the nature of powers from where I come, so maybe things are just better in other places.

I did a bit of digging on the network, and yeah, seems like there's a good number of people that at least describes themselves as "will fight crime".
