[ Video feed of Vax'ildan shows the half-elf rogue on the outskirts of the city park. Normally, it would look a lot busier with zombies walking around, but it's eerily quiet. ]
Uh, earlier, Maya and Tristan were able to release the souls of a group of the undead in the park. Although their spirits have moved on, their bodies remain. I'm going to bury them. If anyone wants to lend a hand or have another way of respectfully caring for the departed, come on down. A little help to do this quickly before I'm set upon by other undead or enforcers would be appreciated.
I brought shovels. Some fire was used when we fought them off… so it smells pretty bad.
And don’t let this give you a sense of false security. The zombie threat isn’t gone. It’s going to keep happening so long as the son of a bitch responsible for tethering souls to their broken bodies isn’t stopped.
[ Another thought occurs, though he's not sure what to make of it. ]
Also, on my way back here, it seems like the dead don't actually... see me for some reason. If anyone needs something and can't get it because of the zombies, I don't mind trying to fetch it for you.
[ooc: There's no log for the burial. If you offer to help, handwave your character participating however you'd like. Vax will thank you for your assistance. ]

[ It's simple and to the point. He is no authority on souls, so he has little to offer there, but Dion is familiar enough with death after so much battle. ]

[ Vax hesitates to ask, since he knows Dion will want to help, and yet... ]
There's... many bodies that are badly burned.
[ It's not dragon fire, but... it may bother Dion to see it. ]

[ He says as much evenly, though not lightly.
There is no question that he would help Vax, however unpleasant the task may be. ]
You need not protect me from the realities of this mission.

[ Vax just wants to protect Dion from it if it would hurt his heart at all. ]
I'm on the east side of the park. Any help is appreciated.

He'd not wish his friend to assume greater burdens than necessary on his account. ]
Then I shall be there shortly.
