And don't bother asking her if there's a way to get back whatever the fuck you lose if you die. She said revival breaks the natural order of the world, so that's why there's a cost.

I agree. It would be best for everyone if we could get the hell out of here. I am still not sure how much I believe everything we were told about why we are here. None of these "missions" feel like them, really... they feel more like social experiments, to me. And I also do not understand what metrics they think any of these antics judge the worthiness of a world to be saved anyway. None of it makes sense.

I want nothing more than to go back to my fucking city, but I also want some answers. More importantly, I want evidence that those answers are truthful. If my universe is actually in danger then I want the details on how and why. I need data, not just a claim from someone I've never met.

I'm not going to argue about the social experiment thing. You're right, that's what it feels like.

Agreed. Although, I feel like if MY world was truly in danger, there are teams dedicated to that sort of thing that would be... more knowledgable about it happening.

[The Avengers aren't... exactly a band anymore, but they were never the only team dedicated to world-ending disasters, after all. ]

There are people who are better suited to this kind of thing where I'm from. I'm actually a fucking terrible choice, all things considered, but since I'm the only one that's here I'm damn well going to take responsibility if I need to.

I would really like to know what their criteria for choosing us is, because I do not think we are the only people that feel that way about being a so-called "champion" of our worlds for this purpose.

I do too. But I don't think Aurora has that information, so we'd have to find another way to get it.

I suppose requesting audience with her controllers will get us nowhere.

Doubt it. I don't think anyone has ever been able to speak to Echo directly. With this new information who knows if it's even possible.

Such is the way of shadow agencies… still so annoying.

This is not my first clandestine agency to be dealing with. They may have different goals and tactics, but there are similar threads among them all, I think.

If we're being logical, the best advice is to be as loosely tied to them as possible.
You do not want to be interesting to them, because that is when they will find ways to use you to further their agenda.

But I suppose that leaves the opposite advice...
The closer and more allied with them you can make yourself, the more likely you may be to get information.

...Of course, they are reading and listening to everything on these networks, I am sure.
So... by nature of telling you my thoughts, they may change their approach entirely. If they were even willing to listen to someone trying to ally themselves to them in the first place.
The beauty (and horror) of it is... you'll never actually know.
