Please complete the below survey regarding possible enhancements to our communication devices and network system. I will be working with Aurora to make these upgrades.

Edit: Additional features being considered based on feedback that were not in the poll include: (1) ease of use features for those less familiar with technology, (2) Wikipedia or an equivalent, (3) banning specific users from personal posts or communications.

Edit 2: Adding (4) storage and sharing for image, audio and video files, primarily for entertainment or educational purposes and (5) expansion of the library to include digital lending of those materials.

So she won’t let us go, but she will make our stay here more comfortable. And she takes requests?

It's likely she's programmed for the primary purpose of looking after us, but is incapable of releasing us to our home worlds. Not that I have any concrete proof.

Okay. I think that's a good theory, yeah. She's like... limited. She can only do so much.

Is she just as bad as the other bots, like stuck on a programming loop? Is she like Siri? Or is she more, uh, advanced? Like talking to a real person?

( seeing as how eddie only talked to her for about thirty seconds in a hospital room, this is pretty interesting stuff to know. )

Much more like talking to a real person. I've been told she's more advanced in processing capabilities than in empathy and self-determination, but it's probably more of an academic discussion.

If it's all the same to you, I think I'd rather stick to first names for a bit. People might still be poaching to sell off our info to Tatianna, after all.

( which, really, might be as big of an issue as eddie's making it out to be. but he just got here, and he's feeling like he's got to not give away the only thing he came in here with. )

Lack of empathy sounds about right for a program that would do this to us.

Hmm, not as long as some, but long enough to face the music. In any case, Aurora isn't the real culprit; she was created by someone called Echo. Very mysterious figure.
