Please complete the below survey regarding possible enhancements to our communication devices and network system. I will be working with Aurora to make these upgrades.

I may or may not respond to comments. Thank you.

Edit: Additional features being considered based on feedback that were not in the poll include: (1) ease of use features for those less familiar with technology, (2) Wikipedia or an equivalent, (3) banning specific users from personal posts or communications.

Edit 2: Adding (4) storage and sharing for image, audio and video files, primarily for entertainment or educational purposes and (5) expansion of the library to include digital lending of those materials.

Having a hard time imagining the social media thing but doesn't sound so bad. [she's from the 90s. sorry.]

You'd be surprised how many people can read and yet choose not to.

Not necessarily, but doubt isn't enough to dissuade me from trying.

I know I joked before that your sunny disposition was your strong point but that's actually nice for you. Keep on dreaming.

Yes yes, the youth are being terribly corrupted by television and video games. The steadily declining violent crime and teen pregnancy rates are horrible government misinformation.

I wouldn't call myself an optimist, but I do tend to see limitations as a challenge.

I suppose I'd have to say I'm a dog person since I have one. Truthfully I didn't want a pet at all, but I've come around. What makes you say you prefer cats?

So they say. Not like I know much about being a good influence.

Seems like we probably shouldn't share anything important where others can see or hear it I guess. Which probably excludes literally everywhere.

Dogs aren't as cute as cats to me. No offense to Bear. He's a lovely gentleman.

I'm not sure we get to pick what kind of influence we are in any case.

I think that would be a wise approach to take, sadly.

None taken. And now we know something trivial about one another after a transparent excuse for conversation. That's how social media works.

That's it? But you can do that in a bar. At a shop. With a neighbor. Isn't that just interacting with people?

I doubt it. Children get to be their own people, after all.

Essentially, yes. However, as I pointed out to another commenter, it's far easier to "walk away" or even ban someone on the internet. It's lower risk. Actually quite popular at home to screen potential dates or clients.

How they take the lessons sure but I can tell a kid not to drink until they're old enough, right? Or I can tell them screw the rules and party hard.

Date? People date on social media? How does that work?

I think when it's successful it's a precursor to an in-person relationship.

Well I guess it isn't any crazier than going home with someone you just met.
