Network Features (text | un: finch)
Please complete the below survey regarding possible enhancements to our communication devices and network system. I will be working with Aurora to make these upgrades.
I may or may not respond to comments. Thank you.
Edit: Additional features being considered based on feedback that were not in the poll include: (1) ease of use features for those less familiar with technology, (2) Wikipedia or an equivalent, (3) banning specific users from personal posts or communications.
Edit 2: Adding (4) storage and sharing for image, audio and video files, primarily for entertainment or educational purposes and (5) expansion of the library to include digital lending of those materials.

Though some seem to think this is a superfluous indolent endeavor.
A microwave is coincidentally a Faraday cage, but isn't large enough for our purposes. You're right that having a room for private conversations we can ensure isn't subject to external electrical fields would be convenient...
We could build it in the library. As a resource for everyone to check out.

[It was a gross oversimplification, but he did his time in the back of the house.]
If they want us to be some kind of lottery, maybe we need some 'superfluous indolent' projects to break the system. Being predictable doesn't do us any favors.

I don't think I'm comfortable with trying to 'break the system' without knowing the consequences, but I would agree we shouldn't waste our time being idle, either.

Average people don't really know about being prepared. A microwave will make more sense.

And perhaps they're right if we can't account for "magical" surveillance methods.

I can't worry too much about something I won't be able to impact.
Anyway. I'm not the Mothman, just a fan. I'm Shelley, if you need me.

I did hope I wasn't talking to the literal Mothman, but it's hard to say around here. Thank you for the offer of assistance, Shelley. Finch is fine for me.

God I hope you're not an actual bird...
