Are we going to even remember this place when or if we return home? I doubt they'd want us telling people the fate of the world was in our hands.

We may not remember, but our actions could still hold meaning.

If someone is safe and happy, does it matter if they remember us?

I would think fame is the furthest thing on people's minds right now.

But should someone save their world, what's to stop them from gloating about it after the fact?

So what if they do?

The world is saved. People are happy. Unless gloating hurts someone's life, I can't find it in myself to be bothered by it.

[That's one way of looking at it. As long as they're not harming anyone with it... but Marik's mind always goes to the extreme.

If you held such a "rank" as the person who saved their world, why wouldn't you use it to your advantage? To gain power?]

I suppose.

What would you do if someone was harming others though?
