[Since there seems to be tension, Wen Kexing offers what comfort he can in the form of his flute. Sit back, close your eyes and listen. The piece in question is meant to soothe the mind, the body and soul, allowing for healing and restful sleep. But it's also rather sad; he isn't the sort of man that can play bright, happy songs, especially since he noticed one of his friends is missing.
Ah well. Such is the nature of this world.
Eventually he will speak, his deep voice soft so as to not ruin the mood.]
People come and go. I don't even see the point of creating a memorial. Our time here is purposefully brief.
[Is he trying to convince himself? Could be.]
Get some rest. We don't know what tomorrow will bring.

[He doesn't mind teaching someone~]
Ancient China apparently.

( see eddie contemplate this one, eyebrow raised in thought. )
Yeah, I get the feeling that our art, music, and poetry isn't exactly the same as what you've got going on in your world.
For example: where do you guys stand on tattoos?
no subject
Do you know about China? [Even the name for his country is odd to him. He's that old.]
no subject
Here, in my world, tattoos don't mean a goddamn thing.
( he rolls up the sleeves of his comfy, ugly sweater to show the tattoos on his arms. they're cool, not totally pointless — one's a bird, the other is a wolf — but they don't have the communal aspect that this person is familiar with. )
They just sorta... look cool.
And, uh, broad strokes.
( the american education system did not teach him enough about the history of china, we're sad to say. )

[His eyes sparkle playfully.]
Are you dangerous, friend?
no subject
( no takebacks. )
I'm not dangerous.
Are you dangerous?
no subject
Yes.
no subject
( preferably never!! )
And are you sure? Because dangerous people usually aren't so transparent about how dangerous they are.
no subject
[Tell him about the weirdest of topics.]
You could test me and see for yourself. I won't take pity on you, though.
no subject
You mean in a fight??

no subject
It's not like you go around kicking anyone's ass, right?
no subject
And I have.
no subject
So have I.
( things he probably shouldn't be admitting out in the open! )
But that doesn't make me a danger to you.
We're all here to help each other.
no subject
I am a danger to everyone. [Except his A-Xu.]
no subject
And you seemed fine.
...Do you want me to be afraid of you?

no subject
( and no one ever accused eddie brock of being smart. )
So, you can relax. You aren't going to hurt me.
no subject
Don't be too sure, that's all I can say. If we remain on good terms, that's all the better for you.
no subject
Pretty sure that means we're friends now.

no subject
So.
We can't fight each other.
