[ Tommy's bored and unnerved, which means he's going to inflict it on everyone else, just to have some release. What follows might be a series of quick cuts by someone overly enamored with a blur transition. ]
So we've got. Apartment.
[ Living room. Cluttered surfaces and shoes discarded in the middle of the room. Bedroom. The bed is completely unmade, but it doesn't look like a lot of stuff has made it into the room. The closet is completely empty. ]
Dust mites grow better when you make your bed.
[ Bathroom. Reasonably clean, except for the soaking wet towels on the floor. ]
Dome.
[ Now he's somewhere near the river. Tommy has no idea where, really. He's still getting the lay of the land. ]
Dome.
[ Trees. He's nowhere near the original location and is, in fact, on the other side of the dome. ]
Dome.
[ Rocky coastline along one of the islands. ]
This is NOT Doctor Strange's place.
[ It's actually 8 Grandage Place, not that he recognizes it, but he feels like it has the right vibe.. ]
This is also not Doctor Strange's place.
[ Wayne Manor is actually looming in the distance over his shoulder. ]
Bribery spot number one. The best robo-coffee is here -
[ Corrinne's Cafe. It looks open and inviting, and Tommy actually turns to look inside. ]
Wait here.
[ And then he just wanders off inside the cafe, leaving the device running outside and wandering out about five minutes later with a coffee. ]
You dorks still here? Okay, cause we gotta get something straight.
[ Back to Wayne Manor. ]
ALSO - not the Avengers Mansion. I think this is actual old money shit. This isn't Hoboken by the golf course money. Moving on.
[ What looks like a glass geodesic dome to one side of the screen: it's the Thistlespring lab. Tommy's shooting it a look. ]
That's either a greenhouse or EXTREMELY SKETCHY STUFF goes on in there, you know? Like there's a third possibility of "nerds", but nerds don't that kind of ceiling space. Are they growing tropical trees? Is it a giant clean room? What's in the bubble?
[ The verrrrry edge of Xue Yang's street, as close as you can get without setting a toe onto it. Tommy smirks and wiggles his fingers dramatically. ]
OOOoooOOOoooo forbidden street.
[ The interior of Roxx, for those that recognize it. Tommy's now wearing a sweater striped in about five shades of green and brown. ]
Bribery round two. The clothes are decent.
[ Outside of Rocky's Barcade. Tommy holds a hand up and rocks it from side-to-side. ]
This, this is not bribery. These games are slow. Cri. Min. Al. Ly. Slow. You know what you're better off doing?
[ He's leaving Dhaliwal to Wall Books, with a hardcover that looks like it should be a Kurt Vonnegut book, but isn't. ]
Literally anything. But you can't do anything, because you're limited to what they can cram inside the dome, which somehow includes an eighth of Manhattan with nothing inside, like that isn't sketchy. I feel great about 30 Rockefeller Center not even having a security station inside. Not even a desk. They've got a whole ass empty hospital, but they're barely trying on some of this stuff. There's at least three churches or temples, but no barbershop. How are you all cutting your hair? Why is everything so random? Harry's Hideway isn't doing a very good job of hiding when the sign says Harry's Hideaway.
You know what I found today? Catacombs. WIth bones. WHOSE bones are they are and why is nobody freaking out? Because I'm convincing myself that they're plaster, but I don't know what bones or plaster feel like. I'm not loving it, and all the free clothes and books in the dome aren't going to make it better.

[ a great reintro ]

[ This is in fact his first experience with Tommy's power (in his current state anyway- what's memory?) ]
Were you mapping the place or just that bored?
no subject
[ He doesn't hand out a survey to check on people's experiences. If Tommy has to pick up someone and run, sick is better than whatever was about to happen. ]
But noted. I'll give you a heads up if there's time. Both. I didn't draw a map. It's in my head. You want me to draw it?
no subject
It's in your head as in you can learn the area that easily or you've been over it that much?
[ With the not so hidden worry of someone thinking he doesn't like the latter potential. ]
A map might be helpful? I admittedly haven't explored as much as I could.
[ because this billy is also Not a teleporter (yet) ]
no subject
Does it matter? Either one means I'm already bored. I'm not like Google Maps - I don't know where everything is, but I know my way around now.
[ It's like delivering pizzas. You figure out the main roads and where the landmark locations - anything important or really recognizable - are, and everything else sort of falls into place. ]
I can do that. I'll get the street names on my next run.
no subject
[ It's an attempt at a joke - Because he thinks of his own... Not boredom, but the amount of times he's gone into reddit and youtube rabbitholes that Eddie laughed at him. ]
[ Anyway, he pauses and then nearly blurts out. ]
Do you want company?
[ better than asking to just take him around he wants to see what speeding is like, ]
no subject
[ Yeah, right. He’s insulted, but Tommy laughs anyway. If anyone needs an intervention, it’s - who? It’s not him, anyway. He’s doing fine, even though he’s stuck in an alien snow globe. ]
You can come, but I’m ditching you if you try an intervention for whatever you’re hung up on. I’m not sitting through some lecture from my little brother about staying in my apartment and being quiet.
[ But he does want company. ]
no subject
[ He asks before he can stop himself or even has the sense to. Does he need an intervention? No, never - But the follow-up does make him cause and look off camera sheepishly. Some part of him wants to argue how he knows he's the younger one - but realistically, he thinks he's right in two separate ways (annoying). And more importantly - ]
- Okay, that's so not what I meant. If you were that bored we could just do something about it?
no subject
He really doesn’t want to talk about anyone’s trauma. Especially not theirs. Not alone, and not where anyone can see. ]
OK. I’m up for anything, and making a map was barely less boring than nothing. What do you want to do?
[ Please stop looking like that, with that uncertain face like Billy’s taking what Tommy says completely to heart. ]
no subject
It's more interesting if you make up code names for the area.
[ Bad counter point. ] You could show me your favorite place that you've found?
no subject
[ He doesn’t have to use a sarcastic tone. Tommy’s face has cornered the market on sarcasm. Really, Captain CaptainAmerica Fanboy? Codenames for places.
He’s never been more certain that Billy is Billy. He’s never been more confused at how they could possibly be twins. Family. They’ll drive you crazy. ]
We’re not doing codenames for places. I’m not asking you to meet me at the duck pond or whatever. And I don't have a favorite place. It's a prison. There's nothing nice about it.
no subject
[ At least, for a brief moment there's more sass than there is not. Like he forgets his other worries. It doesn't last with the following up. He opens his mouth to say something- that sure it might be a prison but at least he'd found him. He doesn't say it, partly because of his own weirdly mashed identity issues. ]
Favorite place was maybe the wrong word. There's got to be one you found cool? [ a beat ] I'm not exactly sure where to go around here and suggesting "shopping" sounds way off base.
no subject
[ Every example is said as if he's condemning Billy to a lifetime of disappointment. Which he is. If it happens. Tommy doesn't think it will, in the end, for any version of Billy. ]
It's not. Off base, I mean. The apartments they give us have like nothing in them. Unless you're washing your jocks in the sink every night, you have to go "shopping". More like shoplifting 'cause there's no money. But next time, ask for what you want. If you try to come at it sideways - to, what, trick me into going shopping? You just seem crooked.

[ No, you know what, that's not important. Saying hi is important! ]
Tommy, right? Billy's brother? I don't think we've met, but I used to work with Billy on Avengers-stuff!
... Also, did not know we had catacombs, that is straight up creepy.
no subject
[ Saying hi IS important though! Hey girl. ]
You got it. And - okay, this is not me being forgetful, because I definitely know who you are, but he never dropped a name.
[ She said Billy and Tommy, and he only knows Squirrel Girl, so he'll be nice and let her say what she should be called. ]
no subject
[ ... RIGHT, SECRET IDENTITY STUFF, she got distracted by her Strange tirade! ]
... Right, sorry! I'm Doreen. I dropped the whole 'secret identity' thing a while ago.
no subject
Hey Doreen. I'm bad at it, but I try to be good at it for the people who want to be all cautious. Don't worry about what you call me here, but keep it quiet at home, k? Technically, I think I'm still wanted.
no subject
And of course! Fingers crossed, lips zipped. [ she even mimes zipping her lips for emphasis! ] I totally get it, apart from the whole 'being wanted' thing? Are you guys doing ok?
text; un: dynamight
you found catacombs?
text > every line is another text
Hang on, you saw that?
The CAMERA caught that?
What's the frame rate on these things?
But fine I'll do it the hard way and actually edit instead of live stream JUST FOR YOU
Who are you anyway?
Because I'm not actually going to do that for someone I don't know
Why would I make up the catacombs? I didn't show them because I didn't want to freak people out. They're under the French shed.
I love him, your honor. I'm sorry for Bakugo.
I'm Bakugo Katsuki. you can call me Bakugo.
never said you made it up, I just never heard of it. wonder if someone was here before us then
no subject
