In all of his 'confused but has spirit' energy that had gotten him through his time in Etraya before.]

[ Technically the other is only dishing right out at Fabian what Fabian was giving him in the first place, and yet Fabian sounds so offended and surprised right now.

He's even dramatically gasping for air for a second here before he manages to speak on with that clearly offended tone. ]

Because I already have one here. And two back home. So adding one more isn't a problem, but-- I think my bank can't reach here, so I will have to inform them first!

[ A very normal thing to say. And yet Fabian didn't do as much as blink. Or hesitate. ]

Even Fabian is speechless at that. Just for a moment though. Because Fabian never fully shuts up. Ever. ]

I'm only used to the really mean ones who drop buildings and hit me with trains!

[ That's not what Peter is saying at all, and yet.. Fabian apparently can't help but take it personally.. ]

Well, I mean-- Not all of them are. [ His father's nemesis sure had been something, after all, to not even speak of Fabian's current nemesis back home..

But there's no way he's going to admit that much out loud. It feels like he'd thread too close to a kind of vulnerability he doesn't want to show anyone. So he leaves it at that, and then quickly speaks on so hopefully Peter won't think about that part too hard. ]

[ There's a sound on Fabian's side that indicate he's choking on something - but he's clearly not eating anything, so maybe he just nearly choked on his own spit in surprise at that statement.

He coughs for a moment, but once he regains his ability to speak, he immediately says: ]

[ A whole group of Spider nemeses?! ]

Uh... yeah! Yeah, there's at least four other versions of me.

And I'm sure there's plenty more other versions I haven't met before. Multiverse type stuff, y'know?

[ There's some mumbled stuff that's kind of hard to make out, until there's something at the end that's said a little bit louder, making it more audible and clear to the other - even though it sounds like Fabian is still talking to himself as he says it. ]

--didn't realize it was this kind of commitment..

[ That's a whole lot of nemeses to suddenly be dealing with. B-But fine! You know what? He's going to do it anyway! Because he is Fabian Aramais Seacaster, and a Seacaster never backs down. ]

Well-- It's fine, I suppose! I bet you need at least four other versions of you to even be able to take me down in the first place!
