Oh, family is what you make it where I'm from. When you form a family, everyone is a brother or sister to each other. Blood means little when every day could be your last.

As long as I save the two still alive, that's all that matters to me.

I know what that's like, a little.
I didn't have a lot of people related by blood in my life.

[A lot of people have, like, cousins. Lots of aunts and uncles, or grandparents. But Peter, he'd lost his parents when he was so, so young -- and then there was just Ben, and then there was no one. May wasn't related to him by blood, but she was the most important person in his life outside of Ned, up until Germany happened.]
