In all of his 'confused but has spirit' energy that had gotten him through his time in Etraya before.]

[The Chitauri thing is probably the worst thing Loki has ever done. In his own opinion, he feels most guilty about how his actions led to his mother’s death, but in general, he is aware that his actions when working for Thanos and while under the influence of the staff were far worse. He would hardly blame Peter for such thoughts. Would even apologize if he knew he was there at the time, though that would likely not help much. Words are simply that, words. Loki knows that real apologies come from changing one’s behaviour.]

Yes, I don’t have much hope that she will be able to help, or even know anything I am asking about, but a few people have suggested I give it a try. Besides, it is always possible that what I say to her gets back to the higher ups and then they would want to meet with me.

[He doesn’t have much confidence in this. He’s starting to believe that those in charge don’t realize what they’ve done by taking him and most rulers do tend to stick to their guns, not ever wanting to admit to being wrong. He’s out of ideas otherwise though.]

But so did Norman Osborn. For Peter, it was maybe the hardest fight he'd ever fought. It's those personal demons that make the job the hardest, and he thanks his older, other self every single day for keeping him from going there.

Just gotta get through it day by day, and it'll hurt less.]

I hate to say it, but... we might be in it for a long haul.

[A lot might be an understatement, but Loki just might appreciate that.

Loki knows that it does hurt less eventually, though it took him a massive sacrifice and a few hundred years to even begin to get over everything he’s done, but he would doubt Peter has done anything quite as bad as he has. Not many have.]

That thought has occurred to me as well. I am not giving up though. That is not really in my nature. And I am not ready to give up on saving all timelines, not just the ones represented by the inhabitants here.

I am glad to hear that. That is exactly the mentality we need.

Please know I will do what it takes to get back and continue my own work making sure all timelines survive and thrive.
