How advanced was the prosthetic you had before it was damaged?

Working elbow joint, not much wrist movement, could grip a pen but not much else.

I think I was unclear. I want an arm as close to my real arm as I can get, I don't want something "better" than the actual biological arm attached to me.

The prosthetic one I got is garbage, improving it wouldn't be difficult.

No, I got that. I just don't understand. Wouldn't an arm that helped you do tasks better be more desirable? As a surgeon, what if it had enhanced stability? Wouldn't something like that make your life easier without changing much for you?

Depends. If the left is lighter than the right, my balance will be off. If the grip's tighter then it'll take longer to get used to it.

I don't need it to be faster or stronger than a normal arm. But pressure and heat sensitivity would be great.

Pressure sensitivity is easier than heat sensitivity. Unless you're looking for some sort of neural connection to the arm, that is.

In all seriousness, I don't like holding favors over people. But I hope that if I had something that needed a surgeon, you'd be able to help me out.
