Looking for a mechanic capable of fixing a prosthetic arm, altruistic introverts highly preferred, opportunistic assholes also acceptable.
Age irrelevant, but if you're a child I will comment on it.

You wouldn't share your list with me, would you?
[He's going to have to find something to bargain with. Maybe they'll have a mission where his medical skills will come in handy.]

[ No, he's definitely paranoid. Then again... ]
Not for free, no. Perhaps if you had something to offer, we could make an exchange.
It's been quite useful to me.

But I guess this whole post isn't too bad as a starting point.

Though it looks like some fools have given you a bit of a lead, doesn't it?

"Friendly". [ He knows this is goading. He does not go into the whole 'pilties are bad' tirade.
He Will Not.
But damn if there isn't a long, long period where Robert can assume that a Screed was typed, and then backspaced. ]
Do hesitate to take his words as fact, hm? Those that offer information for free offer information at that exact same quality. Worthless.

Mind if I type something that will piss you off?
[He doesn't actually want to end this alliance before it actually starts, so if he's told not to he'll keep it to himself.]

[ To be fair, Jayce did ask for his daughter to be put in jail. ]
You may as well. I can assure you, I can keep it in check.
[ 'I'm always angry' etc etc ]

I don't have friends.

If he were on my side, he would understand the foolishness that comes from having "friends". I don't have time or interest in that.

[ not that he's one to talk, though he did have a dog. ]

Righteous purpose? Proving the lot of them wrong? I can think of plenty of reasons to have a goal that doesn't rely on other people.
In fact, needing to have other people to motivate your purpose is a little sad, don't you think?

I can do my job better when I have a team of capable people around me. And I fix people for a living, so I might not be the best person to have the lone wolf monologue at.
[ Silco isn't entirely wrong in his opinion, he's a misanthrope too. But he can't deny that having people to care about is a fuel. He suspects this guy secretly agrees, he just has to play the hater card on the public network post.
This whole conversation is half a show for the onlookers. ]

I never said I didn't have people who work for me, you know. Friends are different than employees.
In fact, I value competence above all.
[ On the one hand, Sevika. On the other... bomb girl.
But he has things he does care about, that he'll absolutely, positively never admit in public. Robert is correct in this — this is all for show. ]

Talis seems competent.
[ Talis also seems vaguely unwell in that way geniuses tend to be, but then, so does this guy. ]

Talis is only competent in some ways. Brilliant inventor, yes. He revolutionized a great deal of trade with his inventions. All while ignoring the long-reaching consequences of doing so.
I value more than simple genius.
[ Says area man whose idea of competence is an EVEN WORSE GENIUS who made him addictive super soldier steroid drugs. ]
