Greetings. I hope this finds you all well.
My name is Nicholas. I am from Italy, on Earth.
I arrived here recently and I think so did many others. It seems we are all from different places. I admit to being curious and would be glad to hear more about all of you.
We may speak in person or over these devices.
If you prefer in person, I will be making rosemary focaccia and aubergine parmigiana for dinner this evening. There will also be amaretti and coffee, if you prefer to come only for a short time.
All are welcome. You need not bring gifts.
Thank you.

And what about the other half?

wella quarter of those are recipes from the Depression, which no one cares for anymore
half are what most consider American junk food but are staples where I'm fromand the last quarter are recipes I've tried once or twice or are things like cookies and desserts and suchno subject
[ (There are no other immortals.) ]
Junk food and desserts would complement the current menu well.
You are welcome to recreate something from the Depression if you would like… I add this as I do not wish to close that door on you, if it is your preference. I would be glad of whatever you brought.

> rosemary focaccia and aubergine parmigiana>Junk food and desserts would complement the current menu well.this is only confirming to me that American Italian has a right to be junk foodhonestly, the only thing I still make from the Depression are my ma's pancakes but I think poor man's cookies would fit reasonably dessertwouldn't be too hard to whip up a few burgers toono subject
I would be happy to save a place for these at my table.
Pardon me for asking. What year are you from?

ohwell hello from the future thenthough I'm not sure if we're from the same universeyou don't happen to know about overly patriotic public figure named Captain America, do you?
( ...god, that sounds embarrassingly bad. the other universes must be cringing. )

Apologies, I meant soccer team. I am sure there is an American football team named as such?

no worries, palI figured what you'd meant
there aren't any of those named that where I'm from, but a majority of people in Europe definitely aren't keen on Captain America there either, so sounds like you really are from another universe( interesting. )
that's probably a good thing thoughconsidering what happened recently on my Earth
