Does anyone know if the fast child-sized squirrels are dewormed? Do we need rabies vaccines? Are there any vets in town?
For those who don't know me, I'm Dr. Robert Romano. As of a few days ago I was the only non-magical medical doctor in Etraya. If that's changed please talk to me, I'm so lonely.
And I'm serious about the fast squirrels, I also got anti-flea treatments for anyone covered in fur.

Best of luck, buddy. Hope the identity crisis doesn't hit you too hard.

If this proceeds not as I believe it should, I am prepared for that possibility. There is no identity crisis to be had, it would simply be an abduction at that point. Which it already is, technically speaking. Yet I would rather approach this with rationality and peace, than with impetuousness and hostility.
I am a man, not some undomesticated, flailing beast.

You're a "higher being" trapped in an ant farm, figure that's gotta sting.

[The most jarring part was what was happening when he was snatched, and how much the proclaimed reason they are here aligns with it. Eerie, really.]
Though it is odd that Aurora is the one positioned as Overseer. Quite concerning, if I'm to be honest.

Not sure the metaphor holds in this situation.

That is something that could not happen if a proper Overseer were here. That there are none at all is worrying, that we only know of Echo and none others is doubly so.

Very funny either way.

Rather, I have the clarity of mind to avoid such barbarism, as well as prevent it from happening or spreading needlessly. It is not a question whether or not I can harm much of anything. Whether anything can harm me is the one you should be asking.

Do you think me a fool? Do you believe me incapable of adapting to the unexpected? I assure you I am terribly accustom to the chaotic, whether I like it or not. I simply would rather not, if I have my say in it is all.

Happy for you re: being cool and adaptable and totally in control of all your emotions.

Though, you seem disappointed that I am not so easily perturbed.
[He says that, but he is absolutely the kind of guy to throw a fit over someone getting his robes wet, so...]

Regardless, your efforts to inform are appreciated, though I assure you much I have seen here is not far removed from that which I am familiar already. The main oddity is being brought to this far-flung facility, and the lack of proper personnel attending it. The testing of concepts for their measure and worth to exist is all rather ordinary procedure.

I figured we were more like a zoo.

One of the missions was to a popularity contest planet and I did okay.
