Does anyone know if the fast child-sized squirrels are dewormed? Do we need rabies vaccines? Are there any vets in town?

For those who don't know me, I'm Dr. Robert Romano. As of a few days ago I was the only non-magical medical doctor in Etraya. If that's changed please talk to me, I'm so lonely.

And I'm serious about the fast squirrels, I also got anti-flea treatments for anyone covered in fur.

Wild animals usually carry parasites, deworming kills the parasite. Rabid vaccines was a typo, I meant rabies vaccine, a shot that prevents rabies.

Rabies is an incurable disease that causes, among other symptoms, the brain to swell.

I'm not a doctor, unfortunately, but I've been trained as a field medic and have extensive experience with first aid. Also with hospitals. On the patient side, but you pick up enough when you're in and out of hospitals and clinics as a kid.

Have fleas been a problem here before? Talk about one of the more annoying things to have carry over across worlds... what about mosquitoes? Leeches? Do we have waters warm enough for leeches?

I'm pretty sure the local bat people are actually humans in costumes, so they're not a point of concern.

We haven't had any infestation issues, but there's... so many of the fast squirrels now. I don't know what the hygiene standards are like in the land of fast squirrels.

Rabies is a bad disease that kills painfully. Vaccine prevents the disease.

Deworming kills internal parasites. Parasites are bad.

Why would it be rude? Being covered in fur makes you more likely to get fleas.

The automatons are simply working as automatons might, naught more than helpful familiars by my measure. As for your question, an Overseer would maintain order to each of the habitats within this facility, often leading the researchers below them in tending to the needs of the creations and supplying them with what they might need to thrive within their particular environ. If these particular entities are not being properly cared for, then the Overseer is failing at their duty.

Why wouldn't everything be free? It is only the familiars who tend to work for rewards, but they are sufficiently satiated all the same.

So there's a dedicated naming theme? That's a new one. At least that lays aside the potential rabies concerns.

Or if the parasites of their world would thrive here and were on any of them in the first place. Have there been disease concerns with so many different people's immune systems and world-unique virsuses or bacteria, or is that one of the things somehow handled by the fact we are here to compete for... reality continuation privileges.

Normally wouldn't take long if we're looking at human history of germ exposure to new populations. So we should be fine!
