I am told this is a forum where one may solicit public opinion.
If there is one experience you could have again, what would it be?
What from your home do you find yourself missing the most?

[ It's a good question. Clea doesn't know what she's really looking for. She has always had a space of her own in which to create. While some aspects of her art could be public, she finds the idea of working where someone could pass by unnerving. Particularly if she opts to attempt a Canvas here. ]
Ideally, somewhere private and protected by the elements. This is not an ideal situation. I will consider that, thank you.
That is true. There are some things which can only be understood by the person who goes through them. And yet humanity has still found art to be a balm for the soul. With the ability to speak across the ages, sometimes an experience you thought was only your own is shared by someone you will never meet, who has been gone for centuries.
Creation, too, helps. Perhaps you could try if you do not already. When others do not understand, you must rely on yourself.

not that i'm not agreeing with you that art is great. it is, but ya know. levels. perception. mind matter. experience. all those things together make someone look at something 100 years in the future and go 'oh, i get it' and they do not get it anyway.
no subject
Of course, but that does not change the spark of understanding experienced by the audience member. You are correct that audience interpretation can vary from an artist's intent, but that does not mean the balm is any less effective. It does not change the comfort derived or the inspiration gleaned. It's possible for an artist to say something true without realizing the message they've shared.

that said, i'm definitely not an artistic type.

Because you do not enjoy it? What makes your soul sing instead?

okay, do you want me to answer that one or the original ones. you only get two questions, darling.
(Who made up that rule? Her, literally now.)
no subject
Any two?
[ If they're changing the rules... ]
What do you like the most about fashion? What is one place that makes you feel happy or at peace?
[ Pushing personal questions will accomplish nothing if the woman does not wish to answer them. Perhaps she will be more willing to share pleasant memories. ]

and my... nation, i guess, but that's a whole can of worms i won't talk about, sorry babe.

It sounds as though most of your life is a secret. I cannot decide whether I would enjoy that or not.
no subject
not at all. i just like being a challenge. if it helps, i'm blonde, tall, blue-eyed, hai down my waist, telepathic, mutant, clone, fabulous.
no subject
Clones are the created twins, but I do not know what a 'mutant' is.
[ And setting aside all of their previous conversation. If they are indeed to have 'girl talk 101'. ]
How are you managing your hair in this place? I've spent over a decade growing it, I would prefer not to need to experiment. I don't recognize what I've been given and if I ruin my ends after all of this work I will be displeased.

context of my world it's someone whos got a specific gene, gives us a few characteristics sometimes and superhuman abilities and whatnot. we got a few here aside from me.
... yeah you need a rescue. on girl talk and earthen haircare. go to charronway, find this huge mansion that says "institute for mutant education and outreach". i'll sense when you approach.

[ Though where else would she be from? Are those scientists and storytellers right when they write of life on other planets? Writers are liars, of course, but even she admits Wells has some talent. ]
It seems there are a great many people here with a wide variety of abilities.
I would appreciate that. I've been braiding and pinning it, but that will not suffice for long.
((OOC: Did you want to thread or handwave? Clea doesn't know what a telepath is so that would be interesting.))
no subject
oh, nope. that's gonna break your hair on the long term, dear.
(ooc: we can definitely thread it! please let me know your telepathy boundaries and preferences so i stay within your comfort zone!)
no subject
I will come.
((OOC: Oh yay! Generally, if it's mentioned in brackets, you're good to telepath it. Mostly I'd just want to avoid Sophie learning certain canon spoilery things bc we want to leave those things up to Clea's castmates. But I'll be appropriately general with that info so if it's in brackets, it's fair play.
Approaching, Clea is a.) fairly often distracted by something she's determined to be aesthetically interesting and b.) rather apprehensive. Not about Sophie in particular, but about the entire situation and her helplessness in it.))
no subject
(ooc: amazing, that works for me! i don't have any canon spoilers, i haven't played it, so basically if you don't give it to me, i won't go into it!)

((OOC: Sweet. Should we thread here or in an inbox?))
feel free to send a starter here or to my inbox, or i can!
