Chirper
Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!
There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
- Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
- When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
- Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
- This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
- For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
Please feel free to switch out any of the Q&A questions with those listed here!
**This is a fixed version of the code, sorry about that!

As for Lavender ice cream— I haven’t. They don’t have that at the Qwik Trip. They’ve got vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and whatever reeses are. But I’d be willing to try it.
no subject
[ Said with affection. ]
I am not sure what Reeses are either, but the ice cream I had was flavored with sadness.
[ Terrible, terrible ice cream. The food here makes Clea so distressed. Except for the coffee. ]
no subject
[He knows the way this all works is slightly outside time. Still. It’s hard to have conversations with respect to that.]
Are you adjusting well here?
[He wasn’t going to pretend that creature comforts could make all the difference.]
no subject
[ And then her family will follow. ]
That depends on what you mean by 'well'.
no subject
[…And thankfully time is probably stopped? Or something? He wasn’t totally clear on it, but his brief absence was otherwise not noted. But he couldn’t know for sure either.]
I think what you think well means is rather important. Did you ever get your workshop or a solar?
no subject
You're right.
I have not. I have been preoccupied with other matters.
[ Recovering from physical assault and mental violation, mostly. ]
Have you left yours more often?
no subject
Perhaps you ought to find somewhere you hate a bit less, eh? I could take you around if you’re shy. There’s so much here to see. No reason to be cooped up. It’s not even properly winter yet.
no subject
I am more mobile now. What interesting places would you show me?
I do believe you're the first person in my life to have ever termed me shy, monsieur.
no subject
Does more mobile mean “staying with friends” or “sleeping under the stars”?
Still. There are buildings of tremendous beauty, even just along the trolley’s path. The Hall of Apeiron, Garreg Mach, Stonhyrr is full of art, even. Even if it’s a bit repetitive. There’s a strange building off the coast in Seasands that warrants a closer look, too. A couple grand abodes in the mountains with the sort of architecture I’ve never seen before in my life.
Do you ride the trolley much?
no subject
She is disappointed in herself. ]
I meant it literally - I could not accept your invitation previously as I was recuperating.
There are some parts of Etraya that are bewitching. The catacombs are of home but not. The monolith, as you said. I have not entered the Hall of Apeiron as there are warnings that I should not. I feed the koi Lakewell since my instructor has gone, and visit Leafless Valley. I would like to see more of Stonhyrr and the tower that lies beyond.
no subject
I’ll show it to you, if you like. You may need an escort past the behemoth. I’ve hardly seen it all, either. Each island holds unique beauty, the sort I’ve never seen before.
[There’s warnings at the Hall?]
Interesting... I’ll have to go see for myself. I must have missed the warning, but never ran along any danger.
no subject
There is a great variety to see here. I do wish I could see some of the locations in their natural demesnes - to see how the architecture and landscape flow in their native environments. Etraya is as a quilt made of patches from many garments, and I would like to see the wholes.
Yes. It says not to enter if you don't understand geometry and irrational numbers.
[ Why geometry in particular, Clea isn't certain. She has some facility in such things: It is the form of mathematics most useful for the arts, but she didn't want to risk it. The catacombs were different: She knows those warnings, their handwriting as clear a sign of home as anything here. ]
no subject
[He remains uneaten, after all.]
There is. Though, the land Stonhyrr has been borrowed from grows sicker by the day. There is little to see of it, blighted as it is.
[Cid scoffs.]
I’m no slouch in my maths, but I would hardly take threats from some anonymous bookworm.
no subject
Stonhyrr is from your world then?
In my experience, one ignores the bookworms at one's own peril. They can be surprisingly vicious.
no subject
It is. [And offers nothing else unprompted.]
Then the peril I accept, for a bit of adventure.
no subject
Then I will procure some.
You have a point that adventure requires peril. Otherwise, it would be a mere errand, would it not?
no subject
Yes indeed. Our daily lives must meaningfully challenge us, or else we miss out on opportunities to grow and change!
no subject
I appreciate your point of view.
[ It keeps her from wallowing. Such an uncouth habit. ]
