how many people need a primer on survivalism for this mission?general headcount and identifications would be useful, so others can keep an eye out for you also, once we're in.( to be helped, of course. )
gathering some info on this already, so I'll edit a bit later to add a basic guide below.
@vdova

suremight be worth dropping your info here too then, in case people want to look for you for help out there

[It's a bit later, and there's a note of Edited @ 1:21am but she does eventually add: ]
Is that enough? I am not entirely sure what you are looking for, but I can definitely help either with fighting or quick field medic things, should anyone need it.

whatever you feel is enough should be enougha basic description of what you look like probably wouldn't hurt either, if people are to recognize you in person( is he going out of his way to get all this information? not really. but if people are willing to freely offer it, he's not going to waste the opportunity to do more thorough recon. )

I like to think I am hard to miss.
no subject
yepdefinitely hard to miss
thank you for volunteering your skillshopefully things can go more smoothly this time, with more of us trying to help and having the time to prepareno subject
shame they haven't met yet]Thanks for noticing~
It is the least I can do.
Have you been here long? Is this sort of thing typical? Did you not get a warning from the computer girl last time?
no subject
I came in with the first batch of people last monthand this is only the second mission, so I wouldn't say there's been enough to call anything typicalthere hadn't really been any precedent to prepare either, but given the context of what the labyrinth will have in store, particularly with emphasis on teamwork, I doubt any of this would count against us as it falls within parametersno subject
Unfortunate, but your honesty is appreciated.
I did not realize this was such a new endeavour.
What was the mission before this one? I'm curious.
I should hope not, like you say, they want us to work together, so it would seem counterintuitive to say this sort of rallying is not allowed.
no subject
yeahso much so that more people ended up here than planned
'getting to know each other'which probably explains why there didn't seem like any reason anyone needed to be preparedno subject
That does not sound like any "mission" I have ever been in.
Did you drink wine and braid each other's hair?
no subject
that's exactly what I asked and I got a non-answer backodd, no?yeah, can't say that I'm familiar with missions being anything like that eitherand I know you're saying that to be funny, but you're actually not too far off the mark thereno subject
Unsurprising. But suspicious.
Ohmygod why did I miss the easiest thing of all?
That is so unfair!
no subject
yepcan't make this shit up
but not shocking at all either
well it wasn't exactly like everything went smoothly for it either soI'd say for the most part, you can't trust the mission summary we're provided with no matter how easy it sounds
no subject
But now I want to know how it went wrong. You must tell me!
Are most of the people here very trusting of our strange kidnappers? I feel that is a very stupid move on their part if true.
no subject
guess it's just inescapably the way of things everywherewhich is a shame
I wouldn't say we're overly trustingbut you probably still hope for the best when you're told to trust someone else with your greatest weakness
( he doesn't seem to want to really get into it, regardless. )
no subject
Well, that sounds awful.
Why would I tell someone my greatest weakness?
Wait
Is this the getting to know you thing they wanted?
On second thought that doesn’t sound great at all.
Awful. Terrible. Disgusting.
[No one should be forced to divulge information to strangers that they do not wish to tell.]
no subject
is that what you'd call Echo?yeahand yeah
I think they're just using this as a front to get more intelbut I don't know for what
no subject
Haven’t met any of them. Except the computer girl, I guess.
Is it not just the classic “control the world” scheme, you think?
That seems to be what so many want.
Not me. That sounds exhausting.
Too many people’s problems to deal with. I do not even want to deal with my own.
no subject
no one's 'met' Echofor the record
tell me about itif it's supposed to be the usual control scheme, they're definitely putting way too much effort into pretending it's not, thoughwhile still being excessively suspiciousif I have to choose between mine or someone else's, I'd pick someone else's thoughno subject
I am not serious for the records.
I know the jokes do not land quite so well like this.
Unfortunate really, because I am really funny.
If what they say is true— with all these worlds out there… maybe it is less dominating one and taking them all instead.
Depends on what their problem is, maybe.
I have skills that make some problems go away very easily but others need such delicate hands, and then maybe I am not your girl.
no subject
yepjust the most fun always
named figureheads that hold untold amounts of implied power etc etc
don't worry, I kind of picked it up from your responses alreadywe'd probably get along great in person
text is just always gonna be awful at tone thoughit's rare for someone to try under the guide of helping though, no? I'd expect most to weaponize a more direct fear to better take advantage of the situationhell, I'll take the delicate problems is you don'tanything to get outta my head is just peachy
no subject
Or ruin countless lives.
Yeah, I don't love the way this Echo is conducting themselves, I have to admit.
Oh, excellent. I hope you know that is basically an invitation to come bother you sometime now.
Probably. But maybe they decided to learn from the mistakes of others.
Do something more unexpected, catch people all unawares.
Then by the time everything is realized, it's too late.
We'll split the work.
Team work makes the dreamwork, yes?
