Concerning Antigone's warning regarding our real names, it occurs to me that we would benefit from collaborating on this front.

To that end, I wish to open discussion.

For those who have chosen a name, please respond with what you have selected, that we may know what to call you.

For those who have not, you may use this posting to discuss your ideas or invite suggestions from others.

As for myself, I shall be using "Lucien", the name of a character from a novel in my world.

Kalas, perhaps? He was a clever thief who aided the hero of his story. The author quite enjoyed writing him, so much so that he penned several tales about Kalas' adventures.

The last remained unfinished when the author fell to illness, but it could be said that Kalas' adventures never end as a result.

Kalas, huh? Sure, that works. And maybe I can read the book sometime.

I'm glad you find it acceptable.

Perhaps I should ask Aurora for literature from my world, in that case.

I would be interested. And as nice as it is to read books from other worlds, there's something to be said for having one that's familiar. You might like to reread them, as well.

That is true. It had been some time since I'd occasioned to read a novel back in my world. I recall them fairly well, but it could be pleasant to revisit those titles.

Though I'd wait until I had your opinions on them.

From what Antigone has stated of fae, it would pose a great risk, yes. It would give the locals some manner of power over us.

Then, if you know my real name and gave me my false one, does that grant you power over me?

You can ask her prick of a husband. He likes talking about names.

[ And since Percy has already made himself available in Dion's discussions, it will be easy to find out. ]

[ He sure saw that conversation... But he's not updating that long, long name unless Percivak says it to him. ]

He does appear to take great pride in his name.

I think it best to know her selection in advance. You would worry for her otherwise, would you not?

[ Vax's moodiness is seeping through, perhaps. He tries to rein it in. ]
