[If anyone hasn’t seen Jayce within the past few months, he looks quite a bit different. His hair is longer, he has a beard, and doesn’t seem quite as full of energy as he might have in the past. He’s also not dressing as uptight as he used to— a lack of vest and tie, exchanged for just a simple button up shirt. The background is once again S.T.A.R. labs, although he’s not trying to hide it this time.]
Hey, Etrayans. For those new to this whole thing, welcome. I’m Jayce Talis. For those who came from Pollux, also welcome. I can say with full confidence Aurora’s better at this than Castor is.
[Aurora probably won’t appreciate that comment, but whatever. He stands by it. But that aside…]
I’m putting out a call for fellow scientists to come together and work collaboratively on research involving what we know about Etraya, and more importantly, what we don’t know. This could also include strategizing developments to improve our lives here, and solving problems with our understanding in our respective fields.
Something that we have here that we lack in our own worlds is the variety of perspectives. In my world, some of our greatest achievements are beyond what’s possible in other worlds, but we don’t have plastics or microwaves. Think of this as an opportunity for all of us to better ourselves, in this… transient existence we’re all stuck in.
Meetings would be here, in S.T.A.R. labs, every Thursday morning. No requirements if you want to participate other than an open mind, and a good attitude. No shooting down suggestions without hearing things out, and if you happen to have some sort of grudge against any of the participants here, you leave it at the door when you come in, or you’re not coming in.
[OOC: Feel free to threadjack around if you'd like!]

[ He worries that someone with predisposed aggression towards someone else is just a prime example to use to manipulate. ]
I simply...do not want that for either of you. But his knowledge of augmentations is fascinating and unlike anything we have seen thus far from anyone else here.
[ Not to mention he knows exactly what Viktor's going through firsthand. He has gone through it and has beaten the disease, at a great cost, no doubt, but his help would be so deeply valued in the matter of saving his own life. ]
He could potentially help in matters pertaining to that... [ But not at the cost of putting Jayce at risk if it came down to that. ]

I know. I was hoping we wouldn't have to go down that route, but there's... solace in knowing that it can be done, and effectively. If our first attempt fails, we can look at other options.
[Other options being machine-replacement.]
private text;
His hatred for you, for his own Jayce...is also strange to see. But apparently hextech isn't as widely known in his world either. He barely had any knowledge of it when I did mention it. Strange, no?

[Viktor gets a free pass on basically anything, in Jayce’s mind.]
I’d miss your freckles, though.
If Hextech wasn’t co-developed by the both of us, then it wouldn’t be as successful as it is in our world. And if his Jayce betrayed him early on in their relationship, then I can’t say I’m surprised. What I still don’t get is why his Jayce would physically attack him so often. I can’t fathom it. Even if I didn’t like you, what would spur someone to do something like that?

[ Viktor knows this well, given their track record back home... ]
We could theorize the reasoning behind it, but I doubt it would make much difference. But I do believe he mentioned exile and the stealing of his work to me. Something having to do with that, I assume.
But you are not prone to such acts, especially not toward me, and that is all that matters when it comes to your interactions with him.
If he can't see the differences between his Jayce and you, then maybe it's best to give him a wide berth for now.

[It does hurt- just a bit- the idea that any Viktor hates him enough he'd have to keep a distance. In the same way other Viktor's having a hard time separating him and his Jayce from his mind, he's having something of the same issue- his unwavering faith in his Viktor's intellect and strength of character, carbon-copied onto the other Viktor with no real evidence to back it up.
But this is not about him, not really, so he's doing his best.]
He expressed interest in joining the Science Club so he'll be there at least. Otherwise, I'm not inviting him out for coffee or whatever.

[ He would be absolutely furious to be honest!! ]
Then we should see what comes of that.
