Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

Will I? I might never recover from that sort of betrayal. See, here I’d thought I found a countryman when I first heard that name.

[He doesn’t elaborate. Never the one to volunteer helpful information, he moves on with it.]

Seems like you still don’t live anywhere either. You know you’re allowed to just move in to whatever you find, right? There’s a whole block of apartments across from the hospital. Though they might complain about you stinking up the place until you’ve finally washed yourself.

You know, you ain't smelling of roses neither.

This again? So now you want me in a dress and smelling like roses?

You sound lonely. We’ve got to get you some friends, Arthur. Good thing the robots put this up for you.

You any good at drawing?

Now just wait a damn minute, I ain't never said I wanted you in no dress. I only asked if you had one with all your offering to bathe another man and is all.

[Which, decidedly, does not refute the assertion of him sounding lonely!]

As for drawing, I'm alright, I suppose. You can at least tell what I've been scribbling. Usually.

[Cid just laughs, low and breathy. He’s just fuckin’ with him.]

That right? Miracle you’re keeping it dry with how it’s been lately. What’s the last thing you “scribbled”?

[pardamned]

I'm used to the elements. Something a Knight of the Soapy Skirt might not know too much about.

[Humor drips from his tone.]

I sketched a weird animal that almost looks like bison. Why?

[He chuckles.]

Just making conversation. There’s a lot to explore out there. I haven’t even properly charted it myself, though I go out nearly every day to see what’s changed. This place is strange like that. Things will change without warning.

Can I see it?

[pardamned]

You can see it once I'm dead, maybe.

[He's not particularly open with showing his art to people. Call him shy. Well, don't do that, he might punch in response.]

This place change that much and that often? Guess that helps keep the place from feeling stagnant.

Then I’m out of luck. Can’t die here, well- Not for very long, at least. Aurora sees to that.

Often enough… And quicker than anywhere I’ve been before, for what that’s worth.

[The news of not being able to die, or that death is not a permanent state, feels like a fist to the temple. He wants to ask more questions about it, but at the same time he feels himself lock up. The topic being almost too vulnerable in ways.

So he just moves on from it completely.]

I'm used to scenery changing on account of my being a wanderer. It'll be odd for it to change while I'm staying in one place. But this whole place is weird and creepy.

You get used to it. Some of it. The rest changes quicker than most people can get a hold of it.

There’s a lot to look at out there. Dozens of islands, most of them only a couple miles long. But each and every one of them has a unique landscape— you’d ordinarily only see such things after days at sea.
