Chirper

CHIRPER

Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
  • Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
  • When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
  • Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
  • This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
  • For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
Please feel free to switch out any of the Q&A questions with those listed here!

( ! He remembers this guy. Friendly faces (words?) are always welcome even if this is one of those topics he hadn't been ready to get into with other people yet. Thanks, Bots. )

you know, i actually thought about you on the last mission. glad you survived the dark.

( That's the easier thing to say, but after a moment, he does add: )

more stretching couldn't hurt. i'm not sure i'm ready for meditation yet. being alone in my head is a little scary these days.

Did you?

[ That's a pleasant surprise, that he made enough of an impression on Leon for him to spare a thought for a near stranger out on that dying world.

Gustave spares a moment to be grateful he reached out first; he's not sure Leon's good opinion would last much past seeing the joke Sophie made of Gustave's own profile this time around. ]

I made it alright. I have a few tricks of my own when it comes to finding a light in the dark.

And I know what you mean. Stretching is probably the better option for the time being, maybe.

yeah. found myself wondering if they had a few guys like you around to make a dome or something, maybe they could have had a better chance out there. surviving the dark and all that.

( He doesn't know if he'll ever be able to really come to terms with knowing they had to leave a whole planet of creatures and people behind. It adds a whole new layer of frustration to being in Etraya at all. But he's not going to get into that. )

well, if you ever want to show off your tricks, i'm happy to be a captive audience.

a good drink can go a long way, too.

[ Ah. He softens, reading that; he can understand the impulse. When the end is in sight, it's human nature to do anything and everything possible to push it back even one day longer, isn't it?

They know the desperate fight against an inevitable, oncoming extinction well, in Lumiere. He'd found Mesa sad, but in a well-worn, familiar kind of way. Maybe there were people there like him, fighting for a future that probably wouldn't ever come. Too late, now. ]

Maybe. But even the Shield Dome is only a temporary measure. I wish we could have done more for Mesa... but maybe remembering it will help us find ways to try and save the next world sentenced to die.

[ Not very cheerful conversation for this idle, light-hearted platform. Gustave winces a little at himself, and adds: ]

But I'd be happy to show you what tricks I have. I know a few good places for drinks; maybe we can finally catch up in person at one of them.
