Chirper

CHIRPER

Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
  • Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
  • When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
  • Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
  • This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
  • For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
Please feel free to switch out any of the Q&A questions with those listed here!

Oh, right. I guess that does make sense. I already appreciate my world, though, so I don't need it. We've got beautiful forests, snow, wolves, a lightning rail and helpful necromancers from Atur Academy that raise zombies to help out with manual labor!

Wh... I'm sorry, what was that last thing?

Helpful necromancers raising the dead to help with farming and building stuff! Basically, whatever work needs to be done, but we don't have enough workers for. They're used in the military, too!

Ah. Hmm.

[ Is it unethical to use corpses to do manual work? Probably not, although the idea of forcing people to keep working postmortem is kind of uncomfortable. ]

Are they soulless drones? Or is this the kind of necromancy where the corpse's soul is bound to the necromancer?

They're soulless drones. We do have greater undead that have souls, like liches and vampires, but I've never seen them do manual work.

Whew, that's a huge relief.

Now I don't know if I'd chose Vash's horrible desert over zombie workers.

Well, I guess it depends. Do you want to see a terrible place that makes you appreciate your own world more, or do you want to see something that's interesting and exciting?

You make an excellent point.

You win, I'd like a vacation in your world.

Yay! I thought I might. I didn't even tell you about all the neat things we have! Like shifters and airships and unicorns!

I have airships, tell me about the other two.

Well, I'm a shifter. In my case, that means I turn into a wolfman sometimes, but there are other kinds of shifters, too, like raven shifters and bear shifters.

Unicorns are like horses, but they have horns, can communicate telepathically and sometimes are patrons to warlocks and grant them magical powers.
