Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

Do flowers naturally exude light in your world?

There is s rooftop garden with a variety of flowers someone requested that you might consider visiting.

I don't think they do, but it's nice to pretend. Some of my magic can help with the make-believe.
I think I would like to see that garden. Is it somewhere I can ask Aurora to guide me? Or should I seek a map?

Yes, I can use magic. Mostly light and healing, as far as I have learned. I hope it will help everyone here.

I have had time to adjust, and others helped me since first I was summoned.

As it happens, light is my element as well. Skill in healing is invaluable, so I've no doubt your aid will be appreciated.

I would hope the work doesn't the need of so many healing hands, but if it must, then I will do what I can.
I had been told that the last minute involved a great deal of darkness...perhaps I arrived a little late.

Indeed, the darkness of that world posed a challenge. Those exposed to it were affected by it, and only light could ward off its influence.

But you had no more say in the time you were summoned than any other brought here.

Such a thing is rife in the world I hail from...

Nights and dark locales alike posed a danger.

In my world, 'tis not the darkness itself but that which might lay within.

So the darkness did not have the sickness imbued within it?

I know not whether it was illness or ill influence. It affected behavior, from what I observed, but there may have been worse cases. Those around me had my light to ward off the worst.

You all may very well have been in my world, without my knowing it...
If that is so, I am sorry for what you endured. I hope none have kept the sickness in them...but I should be able to heal them, if they show signs of the disease.

Is your world called Mesa? That was the name we were supplied.

I know not whether more severe cases have lingered, though it may be worth asking Aurora.

It may go by many names, depending on where you are. Even...the side of the world that was under the true sun may call it something else, but I wouldn't know, unfortunately.

Maybe not, but the notion that I am to...represent the totality of where I am from does feel as such. Does it not feel the same way to you?

I've questioned why I would be summoned here. It is a grave responsbility, and I would not have selected myself over others.

Yet I feel there must be a reason that we were, even if we do not ourselves see it.

It's a lot of mystery, either way. I imagine...if I stayed too idle, I would become very uneasy with all of my thoughts. I will strive to not let it come to that.

I believe you'd find it a common sentiment among our fellows.

We've more idle time than I am accustomed to, and that can be both bane and boon. In my experience, it helps to take up pursuits. Training, learning prsctical skills, hobbies, whatever may fill the time.

Which of them do you enjoy most? If it is alright to ask.

It will depend upon what interests you, of course, but I've enjoyed reading the literature available here. The library has a great many works from a world called Earth.

This may be a strange thing to ask, but... Do the books here transport you body and mind? Into the stories within the pages, to reside with the souls there?

They've no mystical properties that I am aware of.
