Attention Fellow People of Etraya,
I am Doctor Daniil Dankovsky, Bachelor of Medicine. As I understand it, few of you have seen a doctor lately. That simply won’t do! Please, don’t wait to get sick to establish care. I am situated in the hospital, ready to take consent forms and make updated medical histories. At least a few of you have unaddressed concerns, I just know it. The average person comes to see the doctor when it’s too late! Though we cannot die here, there is no reason to suffer unduly.
And if you are otherwise healthy, perhaps think of it as helping me out. In the event of an outbreak, it is far more helpful to have complete clinical pictures of the inhabitants. Especially, as I understand it, there are many biological differences in this population.
Please come visit me during my clinic hours, every day from 10am to 6pm.
[What Daniil really wants is to meet more of the unusual inhabitants of Etraya more quickly as well as conduct casual interviews of the sort of people who are slated to save the universe. But he can’t just say that completely outright.]

General questions might not be a big deal in public, but things like blood type etc. are private medical information. He's been in and out of hospitals enough to be an old hand at this.
Presently a green-haired high schooler in a plain light blue T-shirt, black basketball shorts, and red sneakers finds himself in the waiting room at the hospital he rushed out of so quickly on his first day. This affords him the opportunity to look around it more. He doesn't bat an eye at the robots. The snacks provided are... weird. He leaves them alone.
He's not tall, but he's packed with as much muscle as his small frame will allow. His right arm is heavily scarred. He has freckles and a generally open expression on his face. He has taken a seat that affords him a view of all hallways and the entrance.

Midoriya. [He mispronounces it.] Good to meet you. I was going to ask you what a hero name was, believing it to be something facetious. But you truly are built like some Greek hero of myth, though still a boy, of course. Come back to my office, please.
[His eyes go right to that arm, but it really would be more appropriate to do in private.]
you can use brackets, i always just forget mine when it's in-person tags
"More like comic books and superpowers than ancient Greece, but yeah." When meta abilities started appearing, people in his world were quick to compare it to comic books. They started adding larger than life personalities and costumes to their disguises.
I somehow didn’t notice you were doin’ prose, my bad
Daniil crosses his arms. He’s fairly tall and broad across the shoulders, though lanky, especially in comparison to Deku. He stands up straight into his full 6’ as he continues to inspect what he can before pulling out any instruments.
“Do you wear one of those colorful costumes and have a secret identity, then?” He tries to just sound curious about it, but he can’t iron all the sarcasm out of his voice.
Daniil places his stethoscope in his ears, allowing Midoriya to answer before he gives his heart a listen.
no worries!
"Our identities haven't been secret for the most part since codifying the Hero profession into law," he recites with a completely straight face. "There are underground Heroes who prefer to keep their names out of the media, and there are some privacy measures as with celebrities, but we're still on record with the government."
Even his mortal enemies know his identity. It doesn't change circumstances much since they'd come after him in the course of his public work anyway. What's really secret is the true nature of his power.

“I see. You’re some manner of government contractor then? What do your duties entail?” All the heroes he had talked to mentioned them existing or nebulously keeping people safe.
Daniil ignores the computer in the room and pulls out his case file. They could chat and fill this at the same time. Typically, a background gave a good picture into overall health and lifestyle.
“What is your entire name and age?”
oh no he activated his trap card
There are many different ways to write names that sound the same in Japanese, and his is no exception. Ordinarily he would have just shown his Provisional Hero License, but he arrived in Etraya with nothing but the clothes on his back. It was a blow to find out he lost it. He worked very hard to pass that test. He nearly wept with joy when he received his card!
As for his Quirk... He has wondered if he should be honest about what it can do or keep up the lie. Back home, he's on city records as having "super strength." `He guesses that what All Might warned him about might happen here as well: If someone knew his Quirk was weird, especially if they knew it could be transferred, they might want to steal it somehow. He's not going to let this stop his Hero work, but maybe operating on a need-to-know basis would be best.
Meanwhile... "Rescue, combat, and evacuation make the core purpose of Hero work. It's our job to stabilize things and smoothly hand them off to emergency responders."
His appearance supports this. He's muscular, scarred, has had a few nights of terrible sleep lately, but otherwise looks like he exercises and eats healthy and well. Ordinarily someone his age wouldn't be so scarred, but his Quirk was dangerous for his body.
He should stop talking, but he continues rambling with steadily increasing speed.
"Depending on our Quirks and specialties, we can save people from collapsed buildings, detain Villains, and make sure ordinary bystanders move to a safe place, all the while reassuring them that everything will be all right. The Hero Commission assesses our work. I'm still in training. I have a Provisional License, which means I can go ahead and act without orders in an emergency only. But I'm guessing things work differently here."
Please make him stop.
"I determined that given the whole inter-dimensional kidnapping situation, it's all kind of an emergency. I think the judicial use of Quirks in public should be okay as well as me acting on my own without a supervisor. There's no one for me to ask permission from, and I have been warned that dangerous incidents happen pretty regularly and without warning, so I should keep up my training..."
Stop!!

Daniil listens patiently. After all, he asked. Though it starts to hit a point where his interview is running away.
“What a diligent boy.” Daniil didn’t always play but the rules, but he genuinely did try to do things sensibly. Still, he hated a whistleblower. He’d have to mind his words around the boy.
“What precisely happened to your hand?”
no subject
When Daniil speaks, he startles and blinks. He got carried away again! Muttering to himself or rambling to others is a habit of his... His friends expect it now. Midoriya is about to apologize, but he's asked a question instead. He tries to remember how previous doctors described it to him.
"My hand and my arms had repeated injuries mostly due to my Quirk. My ligaments suffered extreme deterioration. My super strength was originally too much for me, and my arms would break from the inside. I had to learn to control it and also build muscle to handle it. I'm a lot stronger now, but I still have arm bracers as part of my costume to mitigate strain."
no subject
But still. The more interesting thing was the way this boy’s hands seem to have repeatedly imploded.
“I’ve never seen anything like it in all my time. Do they hurt right now? Have you lost sensation or motor control?”
no subject
"No, they don't hurt. Only when I overexert myself. Movement is fine."
He flexes his fingers, wrist, and then the whole of his right arm. His scars wrinkle when their elasticity is tested against the rest of his skin as scars normally do, but they've healed over as well as can be. He has a large nasty one on his upper right arm, another surgical scar near his elbow, and numerous smaller ones on his hand and other arm.
"I had to do a lot of work to rehabilitate them back to normal. There's no more numbness or tingling." He seems quietly proud of the fact that he's no longer a bag of broken bones. Small steps...
no subject
“That is surprising. Even with rehabilitation and intervention, wounds like that would certainly end in permanent nerve damage. Or amputation. At least in my time. Is that it? Or are you littered with them?”
no subject
"I had some help from Recovery Girl's healing Quirk, though it's not like it can reverse anything, just speed up the natural healing process. Come to think of it, my hand does get kind of stiff in the cold. And I can touch a hot mug easier... Anyway, that's pretty much it."
He hopes that suffices for Dr. Dan son of Dan.
