Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:

• Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
• When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
• Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
• This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
• For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.

It is fascinating how the temperature within them can be so different from the outside, no?
More than normal cooling and warming from a proper sun.
I'm told it's called climate control.

Oh, yeah. They don't have central air where you're from?

I think the effect could be achieved through some intricate runework or spellcraft, but the way it is designed here is entirely novel to me.
It seems in the absence of magic, other natural forces have been harnessed to innovate.

That's what the dwarves call their craftwork outside of weaponry, if I'm not mistaken.
Strange, to hear the same term in different contexts...

I mean, there's a bunch of people here all from different Earths, the way I understand it, so there's bound to be overlap in other areas too.

It kind of boggles the mind, doesn’t it?

I don't know, puppies?

I've rarely interacted with dogs, let alone small ones.
If it will help you feel better, you can tell me about them, and it's likely whatever you have to say will be fairly new information.

Oh no I was...

You know what, nevermind.

It's okay, I don't really have a lot of dog knowledge either. We had a family dog but he died when I was still a kid.

Do you remember much of him?

Yeah, I remember he was pretty smart. He was one of those dogs that flunked out of police training because he was too friendly. Didn't want to bite a criminal just wanted to be friends.

A kind companion, then?
It must've been nice.

Yeah, it was. I always figured I would get another dog when I got my own place, but I don't know if that'll happen now.

With being here, yes.
If your tenure here is not long, perhaps you can achieve that dream.

Yeah, maybe. There's a lot still going on back home, too though. Even without all of this.

I understand, in a way.
My understanding is that our sense of time here is disconnected to where we've come from, so it is likely those happenings will not proceed without you.
For better or for worse.

That's... it's honestly a relief, as weird as the whole thing is. Back in my world my friend Leon and I were with a little girl, Sherry. We're both here now, so she would be alone.

Me too. She's already been let down enough by other adults in her life.

Yeah, I don't know about all that. I'm sure there were better choices.

It seems we are not privy to much of the detail, so there is only too much space to guess...
Which is why I was advised to find a hobby instead.
