[Daniil posts live from a café near the museum. He has no patience for typing responses, and his own visage should explain why. His nose has recently been broken and reset. He looks exhausted and irritated, but he has a duty.]

I need a couple people to come down to the café near that absurd museum with the sewn up fruit exhibits. Bring a stretcher, we have a patient who could use some more urgent treatment.

[From somewhere offscreen, a voice that is distinctly not Daniil’s states:] This Etrayan shot me in an attempt to get information I did not possess. I would appreciate his removal from my presence.

Now- That’s not true at all. That is not the reason you were stopped. [Daniil now regrets making a video, but what’s done is done. ]

I wanted to know what was killing people in the tower, and what to expect in there so we could be ready and prepared. Calculate risks.

I will soon be revealing my report on my findings. Between testing the blood and organs as well as conducting a thorough examination, it seems like most of the fatal injuries were from stab wounds or gunshots.

There are many with glass embedded in them, especially the feet. It seems like there is some part where they must walk on it barefoot. I truly shudder to think what sort of sadist devised these.

so beyond the broken glass in the feet, nothing too remarkable as far as injuries are concerned?

That’s right. No burns, nothing that looks like animal attacks. Not even any serious weapons aside from the gunshots. No injuries that look like they came from magic powers or super strength. Some of them look like executions.

I doubt it was out of mercy. Maybe just to keep people in line? Hard to tell. But what it does tell us is that they have a lot of control over what goes on in there. Disrupting that control will be paramount.

[Trevor almost points out that he could have told Daniil that for free and without any research, but he chooses to mind himself since Daniil appears to be making the effort. Giving him shit clearly doesn't go over particularly well.]

[Which isn't say to say Trevor will never do it again. Daniil is just spared in this moment from more terrorizing.]

considering pollux can't be that much different than etraya as far as people brought in, i'm guessing that means everyone who can do more than the average human is reduced down to that baseline. that's going to make disrupting that control harder since it's not exactly like we're winning by way of resources.

but not impossible. just going to take a little more thought and precision, and less reliance on brute strength.

We’re all going to have to work together carefully. Infiltrate the enforcers, if possible. You have been here longer and you’re friends with people who lean towards the organizational. Do you think you could do something like that?

subterfuge really isn't my specialty

[Trevor is incredibly well-versed at laying low and keeping his head down until the time is right in some circumstances, but that's not exactly what Daniil is suggesting.]

organizing a small army on the go? i can swing that. wouldn't be the first time.

Then do what you think is right. I gave up that potential responsibility a long time ago.
