[From somewhere offscreen, a voice that is distinctly not Daniil’s states:] This Etrayan shot me in an attempt to get information I did not possess. I would appreciate his removal from my presence.

Now- That’s not true at all. That is not the reason you were stopped. [Daniil now regrets making a video, but what’s done is done. ]

It could be more dire. There is a tourniquet on, but he is rejecting further treatment. He won’t die anytime soon.

[ Castor will not be addressing Daniil in any way, but he has one janky bot helping him, and he could feasibly get into the network feed if necessary.

He can also be found in person, in a makeshift nest made out of table cloths, with his foot badly wrapped. ]

Midoriya, in full Hero gear as Deku, arrives with his unruly green hair more windswept than ever and marches in. It's a feat to both ignore Daniil and to keep an eye on him, but he somehow manages it. For Castor he has a much gentler demeanor. His eyes sweep over his condition.

"I'm Deku. I'm just going to make sure you're safe and stable. You'll be okay. Someone's coming soon."

Imminently, as he knows it's Superman. Midoriya would like to make sure nothing else happens between Castor and Daniil in the meantime.

But the wound is not very serious. It’s just through the foot. It’s not as if he was running Olympic marathons before this, it shouldn’t impede his quality of life.

[ Jack's dealt with more gunshot wounds than Castor's had Polluxians. He's even been shot himself. However, compared to the sterility of a server system, bullet wounds emphasize how messy the human body is. Plus, no one enjoys getting shot the first time. The second, third, or fourth either. ]

Please take a seat. The sooner you get care, the easier you'll be able to avoid anyone else trying to shoot you. Or the same guy, if he's really determined.

[ He glances at Castor's foot. Through and through. It could be worse. ]

[ Between seeing an Etrayan or a Polluxian, there is no choice. He trusts Polluxians more, at least they're used to each other.

It's a clean shot, and it's bandaged. The work is mediocre, but the bleeding has already slowed down to a stop. ]

[Daniil eventually comes over to the tent to check out the doctors he’s burdened with his handiwork. He is sure to hover outside the view of Castor. No need to make him hysterical. At the same time, he promised Maya he would go see the doctors. But he’s not going to inquire about his own health. He’s spending a day in. It’s almost relaxing.]

[Danill has a bandage over his nose and bruising drained into his under eyes. He wears a white coat to signal to the others what his deal is. His usual coat has absorbed a little too much]

You’re the head of this department, Doctor? [He’s worked worse situations, he’s not about to downtalk all this.]

Now, that would just be a waste of ammo. Utterly unnecessary. It would be the difference between hobbling to the toilet and needing a bedpan, and as a doctor, guess who might be responsible for that? We don’t really have any orderlies here, as much as it pains me.

Though now that I’m thinking about it, someone could repair his own bot, and the main problem would be solved. But then we’d have to worry about escape. Alas, no good.

It’s necessary and heroic when they do it, but when I do one little clean through and through, suddenly I’m the irredeemable monster?
