This is Steve Rogers.
There is a building marked as Avengers Compound on the map. For those of you who know what that is, you're welcome to use the living quarters on a temporary or permanent basis.
Anyone else who needs a place to stay or access to training facilities built to handle enhanced strength, please contact me or Natasha Romanoff.

@vdova
I get to terrorize you every day now?
Oooh wait!
Can I host my defense lessons there?? There should be sssooo much space for it!
no subject
Yes. Is that what we're calling you trying to sneak up on me?
Sure, pick a place and go for it.
no subject
You are the best. Maybe my favorite after moy sestra.
[But surely, he could understand that no one could outrank Natasha to her.]
no subject
Oh yeah?
[It's amusing at best, and a minor inconvenience at worst. He should know better than to bait a Widow by now, but hey.]It keeps my day interesting. Not exactly terrified.
no subject
HA! That sounds like a challenge to me.
no subject
Could be a competition instead.
no subject
[Ohhh, Steve. Do you even know what you just opened yourself up to?]
polite threadjack! @widow
We will be having our lessons here. This is where I've been training people for several years now. I can't wait to show you around. It's a little unkept, but I think you'll still like it.
no subject
You can show me everything, and then we can set up schedules or something. Sort out all the fussy details.
no subject
Sounds perfect!
no subject
I expect a grand tour.
no subject
The grandest of them all.
no subject
Holding you to that.

[She doesn’t hate it, but she has that annoying little sister image to protect!]

I hope you know that you're one of my very best friends and I'd be lost without you. It's pretty great this place showed up just in time for your day. Now if only I could figure out how to put some fireworks out over the water. ;)
no subject
Thanks Nat. Right back at you.
It's a pretty big coincidence but I'll take it. And maybe a couple of sparklers.
@hayan; text
I'd love to try out your facilities then. Practicing on my own is fine but it's a little difficult in the gyms.
no subject
Guess it must be hard to cater for everyone showing up here.
You're welcome to drop by, just let me know if the gate isn't open.
no subject
[Or even still considering all the mix-ups and whatnot.]
Thanks! I'm Hayan Park, just in case you have a list or something like that.
no subject
Good to meet you.
It's definitely an interesting learning curve. Has anywhere you know showed up here?

General fitness, gymnastics, target practice, a couple of places to spar. Are you looking for something specific?

You're welcome to drop by.

Maybe it's better if they don't. Either way, hotdogs and beer on me.
Happy birthday, Steve.
no subject
That sounds pretty good, actually. Thanks Sharon.
[A little unnerving how she just knows these things about him, but kind of comforting too. A Steve Rogers is a Steve Rogers.]Did they have this place in your world? Or the Tower?
no subject
Sure, both. But the compound was in California, headquartering the West Coast Avengers.
[ Bobbi and Clint lived there together. She'll have to check in on Bobbi and see how she's feeling about the arrival of this newest building. ]
It's an academy now. I know the tower, too, but when I spent time with the Avengers, it was mostly at the mansion.
no subject
Never had a mansion, and I don't think the helicarrier counted.
un: Storm;
If the Xavier Institute gets any more residents, we should arrange for some competitive baseball matches.
no subject
So it would seem. He did like his upgrades.
Could get pretty chaotic with everyone's abilities, but it might also be more fun that way. I'm game.
no subject
But some things should be embraced, I think. When you are born with certain abilities, you should be able to use them in ways other than combative. Sometimes that includes a friendly game of baseball.
no subject
I agree, and hope you don't hold it against people who signed up for them.

@SquirrelPower
:')
Sure. I don't think we've met yet. How do you know the Avengers?
[Squirrel Power. Surely just a username, right?]no subject
Oh, shoot! My bad, this must be a multiverse thing. Lemme start over.
I'm Squirrel Girl, nice to meet you! I worked with the New Avengers for a bit? Not sure if they're a thing where you're from.
no subject
Nice to meet you too. They weren't officially called that, but there was a second iteration of the team.
There's a couple of other Avengers around here. You know any of them?
no subject
I've met a few! Before I started officially doing the superhero team stuff, I was a nanny for one of 'em, so I hung around the mansion a lot.
no subject
squirreledhidden away on a farm or remote cabin. How strange. ]Hopefully it didn’t get attacked often.
The compound here looks like it was from just before it got blown up.
no subject
I mean, it was PRETTY secure, but they must've had some wicked homeowners insurance, let's just say that.
no subject
If you don't mind me asking, how did the flip from nanny to superhero happen?
no subject
@everybodysoracle
no subject
It was the name of the team. We had some issues with a guy who wiped out half of life in the universe.
no subject
Well, that does certainly sound worthy of vengeance.
