so new people showing
hi everyone! I'm Kate, or Hawkeye
there's a lot of younger people in the mix as well
before the adults get involved and start poo pooing the idea of *kids* saving the world
I'm sure mine isn't the only one that's been saved by the younger gen a time or two

anyway
I've found a building here that is basically mine from home
my home
it's marked as Bishop Publishing

any teens or 20 somethings need a place to hangout
it's open
there's several games, an archery range, gym, and a lot of other things that can be used to either train or just relax

[address of building here]

feel free to join us
it's all good

i'm not gonna say don't use it, ( because weirdly convenient big building is still convenient, and god knows he's made use of more questionable in different circumstances, but—. ) i'm just saying be careful.

and if you start finding gifts, be mindful that it might be a robot pretending to be a person.

Adults are narrow-minded. Their youth is halcyon; we're nothing but trouble.

The kind that bashes down the door with a post about how adults are a pain and may lump Aurora the AIdiot in with the adults, therefore want to annoy her? Or am I hoping for too much?

Thanks, but let's save that for a power outage and/or total desperation.

You know, I always wanted to see what the inside of a Wards headquarters looked like. The versions in TV shows never seemed that accurate.

you've just ended up with an entire building, kate.

( THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GIFT. )

Yes, I think so, too. By the way, it's nice to meet you, Kate! My name is Rin.

Hey, let me have my fanboy moment. I'm hanging out with real superheroes. If there's an upside to all of this, it's that.

I promise to keep the gawking to a restrained minimum.

You're not boring.

But seriously. I'll be cool. I'm mostly showing up to monopolize your gaming system.

Sure. As long as you're prepared to get schooled.

While you studied the bow, I studied the controller.

( "i checked it out first" kATE.

is that what he would have done?
yes.
can he be mad about it?
maybe a little.
common sense is only applicable for hawkeyes when they're not applying it to themselves, apparently— )

you didn't wanna keep me in the loop about magically appearing buildings?

( then, almost only because she's mentioned billy— )

bobbi's here too.
revengeisalie: (Trying to make sense of this.)

I've been around since the start, I think.

I have been keeping records of everything strange I encounter. Which is pretty much everything.
mostdangerousbird: (004 you’re so novel what a good idea)

[personal profile] mostdangerousbird 2024-04-27 04:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Hang on. I didn't say adults were "bad". It's a common flaw. Good people have flaws all the time, and bad people are just as capable of accurately judging teenagers as good ones.
