there's several games, an archery range, gym, and a lot of other things that can be used to either train or just relax

the young avengers would have had an easier time of things if we had had more support sooner

Do adults in your world do that? Mine has armies of 18- and 19-year olds; modern warfare is built on the backs of teenagers. Not to mention an entire super-squad called the Teen Titans.

Did you steal the games from the basement of the apartment building?

I was part of a team of teens who joined together to be superheroes
the adults didn't think we should have been out there doing it
we proved them wrong but it can still be a thing at times

everyone has the chance to do what they can in any situation
just because someone is younger doesn't mean they can't do big things
some times they just need more help/training to do it

because when I started working as a hero
the adults tried to keep us from doing anything
we didn't listen obviously
if they had just helped us out instead we might have done more at the time

also it's just a good idea to support each other

my team took it over and made it into a clubhouse
and as I'm an archer, the range makes a lot of sense

How common is it that a building you recognize from home shows up here?

[ Adaine is very new, and she and her friends have been compiling a conspiracy board taking notes on the various buildings listed on the map, but if these buildings are coming in from different realities, then they're going to need to update their theories. ]

but there are a lot of other buildings here that don't exactly match what I'd suggest is the local flavor

but yes, there is a full gym including a treadmill

[Hanging out with other teenagers - teenaged capes at that - sounds like absolute hell. But most of what she's seen from people discussing it has posited the idea that cooperating is the way to go in this bizarre game.

My experience is that the older generation is pretty happy to use teenagers as manpower or free labour.

those who will abuse anyone they can
and those who will try to protect everyone they can
the good ones fall in the middle

it's not a secret at home so why should it be here?
I get that some people do keep their id hidden and that's fine
maybe they have someone they need to protect
but it's not the same for all of us

Where I'm from, there's an entire Academy dedicated to teaching teenagers how to do just that. But it looks like you've gotten plenty of responses to that effect. I guess we'll all be dealing with some level of culture shock.

More importantly, does that mean all the buildings here could potentially be from other people's worlds? What do you mean by "basically" the same?

there have been a couple of attempts to do that at my home as well
there's a famous school for those with mutant powers that's been going for years

basically the same as in not everything is 100% familiar
there are new games and other things I don't recognize
but yeah it does look like there are buildings from lots of different places
