hi everyone! I'm Kate, or Hawkeye
there's a lot of younger people in the mix as well
before the adults get involved and start poo pooing the idea of *kids* saving the world
I'm sure mine isn't the only one that's been saved by the younger gen a time or two

anyway
I've found a building here that is basically mine from home
my home

any teens or 20 somethings need a place to hangout
it's open
there's several games, an archery range, gym, and a lot of other things that can be used to either train or just relax

there's a full gym and room to work out or spar
a small weapons room with some basic gear

Something like that. It seems like the style of technology used in my world is a bit different than what's present here. But it amounts to the same thing, I should think.

I'll be honest... When I've just been told that I'm responsible for the fate of my entire plane of reality, I'm less inclined to want to hang out and relax.

But nothing seems to be imminently happening that requires my focus.
(Yet.)
So maybe I will.

I've helped save my world a few times
trust me when I say take the time you can to do it
stressing is fine in the moment
but we need to remember the good things as well

and look at it as a support group
not everyone has someone here from their home
but that doesn't mean they should do everything alone

Gods know when my friends and I have saved the world, there have been moments for levity. A shrimp party or two here and there.

Are there people you know from home here as well?

yeah I'm lucky that I have friends and others from home here
and others from a version similar to home as well

places that are home like but there are differences
maybe people are a little different
or times don't line up

I suppose, in an infinite multiverse, there are bound to be universes which are closer together than others.

Oh, so this isn't your first cross-universe travel?
I've been to different planes of existence, but they were all within the same universe, as far as I can tell.

no, I've done this a few times
my team had to bounce around several dimensions once because someone was after us
and then one teammate can punch holes into other dimensions
so I've been to a few places with her as well

She sounds like a useful teammate to have.
Sort of like having a party member who can cast Plane Shift.

not that it seems to help much so I'm, not sure if America would be able to get us out of here

Chaos magic? Interesting.
But no, I don't think your friend's ability would help here.
Whatever entity has taken us here— this Echo person?— They seem to have completely bound us to this plane. Any magic I've tried to access other planes is either completely non-functional, or unreliable enough so as to be useless.

so we're stuck here until they change their minds
just have to make the best of it

I guess so.
It's not my favorite place to be; at someone else's mercy.
But at least hanging out with like-minded people makes it somewhat better.
