[The easiest introduction in the world! Being that it's a, uh, re-introduction. ~~Peter Parker~~ Spider-Man has already confirmed he'd vanished for months — which is totally crazy, because he feels like he hasn't been gone all that long — but here he is! In all of his 'confused but has spirit' energy that had gotten him through his time in Etraya before.]

Hey guys, I'm back!

Just gone long enough to apply to, like, fifty barista and pizza guy jobs back home.

... Swinging around doesn't pay rent, y'know.

This is just my hero outfit! It helps to have something like this when you're swinging around and fighting crime. Doesn't snag on things as much as normal clothes, or whip around and slap you in the head...

And the mask keep my identity safe back home!

But there's something more important to address here.

You don't know what pizza is?????

So you're a vigilante with a spiffy suit who can do effective parkour? I wouldn't have asked what it was if I knew already, I promise.

What's NYC? That sounds like a luxury; cheese and bread can be hard to come by where I'm from, but it is delicious.

I don't know... My family taught me stuff about humbleness and modesty.
Stuff like that.
... I do like to show off sometimes, though. :P

NYC = New York City. It's the place I'm from! It's got huuuuge towering buildings and it's fill of all kinds of colorful people. And luckily pizza joints are practically on every block. Cheap pizza is actually the best in my humble opinion.

Yeah, I tried to instill that into my kids. Limited effect but maybe they will grow into it.

Sounds similar to where I grew up, minus this whole pizza thing. We do like fish, which doesn't seem to garner as much enthusiasm.

Fish is pretty great, too!
That's the more expensive thing in my world, though. Seafood.

Speaking from experience, btw... sometimes kids just need to fall on their face a few times before they realize what their folks tell them is true. I know it definitely happened to me a few times...

It's a staple where I'm from. We don't farm so fruits and vegetables are expensive. I didn't have folks, so I just learned the face falling way my whole life. Hoping to make it easier on my kids.

I know it couldn't have been easy. What're your kids like?

I seemed to turn out alright, so it couldn't be all bad! 2 rascals and 1 level headed worry wart and 1 artistic shy one. Just some normal kids.

I was an only kid, but having siblings sounded so awesome.

They sound really great, though. I hope you get to go back to them sooner than later.

Oh, family is what you make it where I'm from. When you form a family, everyone is a brother or sister to each other. Blood means little when every day could be your last. As long as I save the two still alive, that's all that matters to me.

I know what that's like, a little.
I didn't have a lot of people related by blood in my life.

[A lot of people have, like, cousins. Lots of aunts and uncles, or grandparents. But Peter, he'd lost his parents when he was so, so young -- and then there was just Ben, and then there was no one. May wasn't related to him by blood, but she was the most important person in his life outside of Ned, up until Germany happened.]

Well, it will be the same here then, right? Family is what we make of it, especially since we're all strays from various worlds and timelines.
