[The easiest introduction in the world! Being that it's a, uh, re-introduction. ~~Peter Parker~~ Spider-Man has already confirmed he'd vanished for months — which is totally crazy, because he feels like he hasn't been gone all that long — but here he is! In all of his 'confused but has spirit' energy that had gotten him through his time in Etraya before.]

Hey guys, I'm back!

Just gone long enough to apply to, like, fifty barista and pizza guy jobs back home.

... Swinging around doesn't pay rent, y'know.

What'd I miss?

[He's perched on his tippy-toes, on top of one of the tallest buildings in Etraya.

I don't have any of that, though. I can crawl up buildings, and I'm crazy strong, but my webs don't even come from my body.

Mine aren't, no. I just wanted to make something that would help me traverse New York really quickly -- the fastest way to do that is definitely swinging around on sticky string. A little science goes a long way, you know? And it's super on-brand.

[ Ohhhh. Watch his eyes light up in that way where they're the only thing that do. ]

Really? That's, like-- cool. You made them? I had to make a spell web for class that takes spider web and enlarges it, you know, into a big web, but we didn't have to make it-- we just had to show we understood how to enlarge it, and-- make it stay. But I had to read about them. About the fibre and glue. It's actually pretty cool.

[ Note: This coming from the guy who was being creeped out by secret spider men just moments ago-- ]

[Yeah, you are a real enigma, my dude. Someone who plays around with webs, but is freaked out by bug people? Pick a lane! Regardless, everything Gorgug says right now is the perfect storm to make Spider-Man instantly excited.]

That's super cool too, though! You gotta show me how it works!

I knew a sorcerer who could do all kinds of crazy magic, but I've never seen that before!

Gorgug's used to getting this kind of reaction though, which doesn't make it--entirely easy, but he's nodding. ]

I'll, I'll see what I can do. What I can make. Maybe I can make a -- [ he mimics a motion ] -- throwing web. I've been practising making bombs...

More than just exploding bombs. A sticky bomb would be cool.

[ This kind of isn't sticking in the realm of magic, but hey...!! ]

Oh!!! I've been making sticky bombs! Or, uh, I was making them.

But since I vanished from Etraya, all my work materials... vanished... too...

... I've got a workshop with materials.

[ It's a voice of twiddling one's fingers, uwu (he is not doing this, he's just not used to inviting people to his workshop!). ]

I'm interested in how you make stuff. But, you-- you'll have to get Fabian's permission, since you two have a [ ... ] thing.

And he put a gold gate around my workshop.

I just think he's gonna be loud about who's got the better moves if he sees you, so you've gotta see him up front.

He doesn't have a lot of competition. It'd be, you know, if you're into it too-- it could be fun. You guys could have fun.

Having fun would be pretty cool.

[He has... not had a lot of fun back home recently.]

In that case, I'll do my best... as his formidable nemesis.

Though I guess a lot of them don't do it with nets...

Oh, totally. I totally can! Aurora's gotta be able to bring in movies, and I know they've got some on DVD... and I've got a player I salvaged from the junkyard, too!

You can find stuff like that in the Kwik Trip sometimes, too. I found game consoles in there a few times. But I didn't know what games went to what.

I didn't grab the consoles, but I can grab them next time, if they're still around? But, yeah, you can come over. And we can hang out, after you can Fabian -- pose and do moves at each other.
