Same person wondering why someone would lie about wanting to help also told me some girl could put a bomb in my arm. I'm getting whiplash here.

Not that I'm complaining, this is both fun and educational.

Regardless, that person seems to think honesty and holding hands will solve all of society's ills. I'm getting the sense that you would know better.

I would know better, and "it is not likely" is not even in the top ten of most reassuring things you could be telling me.

I had the sense that you would, but be warned: you're not going to be able to avoid children. They're everywhere.

I don't mind children, they tend to be easier to deal with than adults. More direct.

But if a twelve year old is a master mechanic I will be commenting on the fact they're twelve and they will get annoyed. It's only fair to warn them.

Which at the very least, if you meet a twelve-year-old master mechanic, they are putting that energy to good use. Perhaps they should accept that they will be commented on it.
