There are a few ways characters can interact with this:
Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional.
When forms are not filled out, they are filled out by the companion bots of Etraya! This means that while the character themself is not choosing to play with CHIRPER, their player still can.
Other characters can be prompted to fill out their friends' profiles for them.
Alternatively, they choose not to fill out the form, and it remains unfilled!
This is just a fun little way of expanding CR. For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER toplevels are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
Once characters' profiles are up, other characters will be given the option of giving them a "like" or a "dislike" (using ✓ and ✕ symbols in the subject line of the comment) but they can also provide an answer as to why they gave that answer! Or just respond to the contents of their profile, +1ing the fact that if Barnabas were to get laid more often, maybe he would be less of a sourpuss.

Hello. My name is Aurora. My duty is to oversee your comfort and the daily workings of Etraya, as well as provide information for upcoming missions.
[Shaw doesn't bother to ask if she can bring Bear - she just shows up with him, leashed and heeling happily. As usual, he'll greet Maria more effusively than Shaw will when the door is opened to them, but Shaw will at least give her a nod.]
[Shaw doesn't know but she really just made Maria's entire night by bringing Bear. the way her face lights up shows just that before she's moving to let them in.]
Yeah, nobody else lives in this place but me. [she says as she's scratching behind Bear's ears and then moving over to where she keeps her alcohol.]
What do you like best? Like I said, I got a lot. A friend went overboard for me.
[She moves into the apartment, looks around for a couch to flop down on... and then immediately conjures up the mental image of a stereotypical therapist's office, complete with fainting couch. No thanks, she'll take a dining chair instead.]
I'll take two if you're going to try to make me do smalltalk.
[Maria notices how she stays away from the couch and smiles to herself, pulling up a chair for her to sit down in. too bad her pink couch pillows will not be enjoyed today.
she gets the drinks for her and sets them down in front of her on the coffee table she has before she walks off to get herself a drink, a simple rum and coke and sits on the couch. Maria puts her feet up on the coffee table with a shrug.]
We don't have to talk. We can just sit here in silence.
[Maria knows how to appeal to people. for better or for worse.]
There was this free tea being given out and he warned me about free food around here then brewed me his own tea. Saved my ass. Apparently the tea had something in it that made you tell the truth. He's been helping me out ever since then.
And yeah, he's been here. Just once, about a week back.
[and so yeah, she had some ideas about Shaw. not a ton. but she probably lost someone. Maria has no plans on making Shaw discuss that but it's her subtle way of letting her know she knows something.]

[Shaw narrows her eyes, as if she can peer into Maria's brain and extract all the intel that way, without having to actually discuss anything. Needless to say, it doesn't work.]

[she talks casually mostly because she assumes Shaw doesn't want to hear the whole 'I'm so sorry' spiel. she is sorry, how could she not be? but nobody wanted to hear how sorry somebody was again and again.]
My point about this place still stands I guess. I got memories back right before the mission so yeah, timing is awful.
